Besides it's not like the general lack of console Pokemon games stopped them before

Eh it just seems like the handheld games will have better Pokemon content than the Wii U version. Same can be said for Kid Icarus. There won't be an Uprising stage for our console. That's pretty sad.
Each version is going to feel like there's chunks of content missing from them.

I don't understand how PokePark wouldn't be a cool stage.

I'd love to see Underworld with updated graphics, but same feel as the first stage.

If the Underworld was made into a stage, it would behave similarly to Icicle Mountain from Melee and Rumble Falls from Brawl in terms on how it keep scrolling upwards.

What I expect to see is a stage inspired by classic Kid Icarus on the Wii U, since we know the 3ds already has an uprising stage. What I am imagining is a recreation of a classic map with Uprising style redesigns. The underworld looked AWESOME in Uprising.

That's like saying the 3DS won't have a Metroid stage. I think we'll get something from each series on each game. There's no way we lose out on a Pokemon stage on the Wii U, for example. It'll happen.

On the topic of a Pokemon stage on the console version, I've got the perfect one:
Pokemon Stadium. In all seriousness though, real stadiums rarely show up in the handheld games, they are usually just implied. So a stadium stage on the console version makes perfect sense to me.

Metroid is pretty safe for getting a cool stage on 3DS though. Metroid 2, Metroid Fusion, Metroid Zero Mission, and Metroid Prime Hunters are there to draw from. But since the main Pokemon franchise games are usually thrown out on handhelds, while console pokemon games have been quite scarce lately, it's worth worrying what kind of stage we'll get from Pokemon.
Though they might just make that franchise the exception or something. Who knows! I get what Koopaul's trying to say though. It's going to feel weird playing WiiU Smash and not seeing cool stages from DS games. It'll also be weird playing the 3DS version and /not/ getting that awesome Galaxy stage. I guess it gives you the insensitive to purchase both! ~I know I'm going to~ Thanked by: Koopaul

Ohhhh man, I'd kill for a Metroid Fusion themed stage. It would be so creepy and awesome.

If they'll keep on the tradition of adding at least one Metroid stage with rising killer liquid, they have to choose Sector 4. I mean we had acid, lava, and now, electrified water! |
