But why give a Mii a Samus helmet if Samus is in the game. Do people really design Miis just to have their entire heads (which is 99.9% of Mii customization) hidden away by helmets and such? Just a nitpick.
I'd like to see costumes though, like in Mario Golf, Mario Tennis and the Mario & Sonic Olympic games. This as a way to sort of play like characters that didn't make the playable roster, like Waluigi for example.

Because that's an actual StreetPlaza hat, like the Meta Knight one.

I know, but Streetpass Plaza doesn't have an actual Samus or Meta Knight.

Corocoro scans. Nothing exceedingly new, in fact I think all images are from previous videos and PotDs, but I can't read it so I don't know for sure.

I thought that it was going to at least neatly show characters moves or at least stage names!! This is way worse than I thought

I know, but Streetpass Plaza doesn't have an actual Samus or Meta Knight. Not sure what you're getting at here. Of course they don't, but they do have hats you can earn modeled after those characters, and really, that's all there is to it.

I get why it's in there. I just think it's silly (do not read as "bullshit") to have a Samus mask cover the entire face you created in Mii Maker while you can play as Samus in the same game.

But what if I want to play as my original character who is Samus' long-lost cousin who was kidnapped by the Space Pirates

The Special Flag's function has been announced finally, and it's pretty powerful.
In Time matches, you get credit for a KO, and in Stock you get an additional stock. However, the flag isn't used instantly, it seems to have a charge.

With the ridiculous amount of explosive items available, the Heart Container and Fairy Bottle, the S-Flag is not as overpowered as some claim.

It looks like it needs time to charge based on Pac man's reveal trailer, and who knows what happens if you are interrupted or even if you can pick it up and move or if it automatically starts the charge.

Another slideshow video:
I wish I knew where the actual pictures were from so I could just post those, but basically the only things of interest on here was the layout of the customization screen for Miis (Which luckily is the thumbnail of the video). There are sections for Equipment (stat changing stuff), their specials, their headgear, and their outfit. There is an image of them in Fighter gear which makes the mii look surprisingly badass.
It makes me kind of wish that the main characters had stuff like Headgear and Outfit changes, but I don't think that's very functional in a lot of ways. I do wonder if they have anything instead of that on their customization screens, though.

Here's what I want to know about equipment and custom abilities. First of all, can I save multiple set-ups to a single character and change which saved set-up I use before each fight? Or is it only one set-up per character and whatever you choose you're stuck with until you return to the customization screen again? (I'm talking about normal characters here, not Miis).
Furthermore, do these set-ups apply every time you fight in the standard local multiplayer mode, or is there a separate mode specifically for using them? What happens if we just want to play with default character stats?
