I don't know if I could live with a Mario cartoon in 2014. It'd just feel way too dopey.
Heck, even a Mario game where characters say more than two words and don't pantomime during cutscenes would just be really strange at this point. I feel like it'd be better if they were just little animated shorts with visual slapstick gags. :/

It hasn't been confirmed yet, but if this turns out to be true and becomes successful, then there's a very positive future for video game movies.

it's ok to suck, sucking is not bad, just try and aim to always do your best!
Sony?
But...but...Nintendo and Sony's relationship is the modern-day version of the Nintendo and Sega rivalry!

Honestly, Nintendo isn't in the same ring with Sony... Grudge Match of the Generation is PlayStation vs. X-Box.

Sony and Microsoft get in each other's faces while Nintendo either goes off to do their own thing. Meanwhile, PC's watching the fight eating a bag of popcorn. That's how it goes every generation.
But all of that probably doesn't mean anything since this is the film division of Sony we're talking about here.

I want to see a cartoon of Bully. Imagine the dynamic they could have with cliche 80s high school movie characters GTA style'd.

I know there's a thank button, but this oh my god this.
This would actually like. Work. Better yet, it'd probably make a better TV series on AMC or HBO, lol
On the inverse, this could also make a good Nickelodeon movie for kids. It all depends on the musical score. ):

PLEASE GOD NO!!
If they were to make a movie based on Bully, it should be at least PG-13.

No one would want a Nickelodeon Pictures version of Bully - the thing is, like you could totally see Jimmy, the stocky kid being in the movie getting picked on by bullies who taunt him with the worst things like "HEY STINK BREATH", shooting spitballs at him, and then Jimmy makes a Rune Golberg machine to create a rapid-fire spitball shooter to get back at those who bullied him in science class at the beginning of the movie if Nickelodeon Pictures made it. It'd literally be Diary of a Wimpy Kid except the protagonist would become the bully but then the girl he's trying to impress doesn't want anything to do with him anymore so he has to choose between being picked on constantly or the girl, so he does the Obvious Nickelodeon thing and rats out the bullies in front of the principal and then the girl holds hands with Jimmy to show him that she likes him so much
you know, typical Nick Pictures drivel
Of course, I think anyone with an actual functioning brain would rather have a movie/TV series where Jimmy hides in bins, spudguns girls, punches a bully and gets away with it, skips class and kisses the school quarterback under the bleachers - actual things that happen in Bully (which I still gotta play omg)
Bully? You guys want an animated Bully cartoon?
It's called; Bromwell High.
You may also know me as Giraffe
