I'm not sure what you mean by blocky pose...I was able to make things more defined than before, and I did make some edits.
It might help if you guys had the concept art...
Only minor differences in design like the helmet, but he's a cyborg (mostly robotic with some actual organic portions, like his head).

Also also like he wants a hug x3.
I think his beard could've been more defined, though, instead of three actual big spikes like that. Like some splitting portions and curliness towards the end. The center spike looks fine, it's the side ones.

I always figured the "side ones" were a really long mustache, not part of the beard...

I can't see that as a mustache though. It seems more 'zelda-like' with this spiky beard, if that's even a thing.
At least that's what I always thought when I saw this sprite. This activity is fun because everyone interprets the same sprite differently.

Really love the pattern you put on his robe, as well as your beard interpretation. The three-spike look is a more unique character design choice than a generic beard would be, plus it reminds me of Darunia.

Gors's sprite was so cool, I gave Link a shot. (He looks kind of like a fischer price toy, but whatever)
I also cheated by using black as transparency, even though Link is hardly on black backgrounds

That'd cause problems when hes on the overworld, lol. I was about to do him myself because of Gors, but you beat me to it XD. Looks good~
I'm not going to lie though, the green sclera looks weird.
