Edit Reason: I changed it to sound less like I'm wanting him to keep the foot still in part of my critique. How did I miss that for so long?

When doing the swipe attack, don't be afraid to make the front foot step forward. Since the back leg is supporting all the weight, don't be shy about not having the front foot look like it's glued to the floor. It'll give this Shadow look a bit more lifelike.

it's ok to suck, sucking is not bad, just try and aim to always do your best!
I love Nabbit.

Turns out this animation was pretty much broken beyond repair, so I redid it completely to look more like an actual scratch attack.
Here's two of the spritesheets completed.
Also, I thought of expanding the character select icons in the sheets to show the character's entire body.
This way, they can be used in more ways, like the VS screen in Smash 4!

Zangoose is back and is pretty much complete. Sorry it's taken so long, Kelvin!
Fun fact: Most of these attacks came from failed attempts at making Zangoose's Final Smash.
Zangoose's spritesheet is probably bigger than your screen now so you'll have to look at it here.

I've really been feeling myself improve, thanks to what people have been telling me on this site. It feels like every word you guys said so far helped me become a much better spriter.
Right now, one thing I've been trying to work on again my pixel-art.
When I practice pixel-art, I mostly draw completely new characters so I can get a feel for actually drawing, instead of drawing official character and end up just trying to make it look like the artwork I'm referencing to.
Also, I'm kinda split on whether or not I should add outlines to my pixel-art.

If it's art that's intended for a game, use outlines. If it's anything else, do whatever feels comfortable to you. The main reason outlines exist is to separate the form of a character from a like-colored background.
So really, outlines are only necessary for something that's going to be superimposed over different backgrounds. For a large piece of pixel art, this isn't a problem because the piece is only going to be used once.

That makes a lot of sense. I guess it would be best for me to not use outlines, since the art is built without them, and even when I do use them in a game, the background is usually made afterwards to work well with the pixel-art.
Also, here's another thing I did, based on the Fangame I'm making.
There's a transparent shadow effect here. What's really cool about it is that the shadow doesn't blend and is completely visible even on the Dark Resource theme's background. Not even outlines could do that.

A lot of the anatomy/posing seems weird and Link seems to be missing his eyebrows. He's also giving whoever he's looking at serious bedroom eyes.

His head isn't quite connecting to his body correctly (head looks too far back), and I'm not sure what part is supposed to be holding his weight up, given his tushy doesn't look firmly planted down and his torso is leaning forward

I'm glad you both pointed those things out, I felt some things might have been really wrong with the pic, but I didn't know what. Only problem is that with pixel-art, it's not nearly as easy to do major changes compared to small sprites. But I'm going to try my best to make sure things like the positioning is better in any future pixel-art(and sprites) I do.
Also, here's some more pixel-art I just did. I mainly tried to make it look cleaner than last time, and focus more on getting the shapes right through the shading.

Took a break from the pixel-art to start making some little-er pixels once more.
This time it's Snivy, but like, again.

Nice animation, but Snivy's eyelids are an extension of the yellow area around its eye.

I dunno if I wouldn't have its belly closer to the ground, too. The legs look too much like legs here, instead of just a vestigial leg. Either move the belly down a pixel, or have the legs thinner, I'd say.

It's been a while, but I've tried to fix up Snivy's legs by making them more slim and also fix Snivy's blinking, like ya'll said.
Now here's some more animations.
Also, since I hadn't been able to get on online for a while, I started making another sheet.
This time with Mario in Sonic 1/CD(-ish) style!
I based the coloring on Mario's from Super Smash Bros for 3DS; I think it fits well with Sonic CD's style.
