Kosheh, I could write a novel about what kind of person you are, but I won't sweat it and just ask you to keep being yourself!

it's ok to suck, sucking is not bad, just try and aim to always do your best!

Whew - thanks for all the birthday wishes, guys! And thanks, especially for all the love. c
I've been particularly busy this week, so I didn't really get a chance to sit down and do a whole lot of things (like go through all the photos from this weekend. Spoilers: It's all food. Expect to see the food topics get busy)
If you guys care, I've written up my adventures from this weekend:
So yeah I woke up Saturday and got a nice big kiss. :-*
But besides that she also gave me a few neat things:
- Ninja Turtle slip-on sneakers
- Modifywatch watchbands with a KC Green's "This is Fine" watchface
- PARAPPA STATIONERY?????????
Cinemarella also made a cookie pizza - we um, ate the whole thing before I thought about taking a picture. <___<;
oh and banana pudding :9
I then proceeded to loaf around and play videogames; not bad considering I usually work Saturdays. :/
So my family, Cinemarella and I took a trips a few towns over to visit this Mexican restaurant they've apparently been trying to get me to go to for 2 years. Everything there was pretty much the best Mexican food I've ever had (best guacamole, best chips, best carnitas, etc.). It's not your typical wrapped-in-tortilla taco fare that I'm used to; rather it's fancy stuff like steak and pork dishes. of course, I order the one thing on the menu that comes in a tortilla lol. Cinemarella ordered a seafood-stuffed avocado. Pictures will probably surface in the food thread.
That night they also had a live mariachi band. My mother spoke with the restaurant staff beforehand, and their first song was Happy Birthday. I got a chocolate lava cake to share with my party! I was also given a huge Mexican sombrero the remainder of my visit.
Afterward, we visited an ice cream place (lol, two desserts) but my dad imposed a catch: we're to play minigolf first and the loser pays. I did okay, but at least I managed to score a free game on the 18th hole
After that Cinemarella and I went home and passed out.
I've been meaning to go to the city for a few weeks to get work done on my old DS Lite: It's getting a new transparent shell :0)
While there, Cinemarella and I visited Broadway Bites again and got food - I got some pretty good shit. :V
We also visited Book-Off, which I ended up spending a ton at
Their GBA selection honestly looked pretty g-- wait a second is that Mother 1+2 --
Seventy dollars are you kidding me :/
Spoilers: I didn't buy MOTHER 1+2. I did find some other AMAZING finds though -- which will be in the Buy Stuff topic soon!!
I did do something completely stupid at this point, which its stupidity will carry on to Monday.
Soon after, we visited Korea Way (Koreatown but a street) and at the end of it I found my old love: Kyochon (a Korean place known for its fried chicken). As I cannot resist fried chicken, I had to go there, too - but yeah that'll be in the fastfood topic :I
I also visited Image Anime and looked at a bunch of figma but that's it for that day. We came home, once again pooped, and I got the best sleep ever -- oh who am I kidding what happened the next day
Yeah - you see, one of the items I bought was Super Donkey Kong 2 (Japanese copy of DKC2) complete in-box, and Book-Off had the other 2 (1 and 3). As soon as I was on the train, I was seriously annoyed that I didn't pick up the other two, as I'll probably never find them again. Contrary to popular belief, I love the DKC games more than Koopaul does, as I own DKC 1,2,3 USA and JP and Land 1,2,3 USA and JP ;D
I've consistently been able to find the Super Famicom versions of games I played long ago for much cheaper, though - for example, Chrono Trigger JP retails for about $10 USD.
Soooo like a fucking maniac, I arrange to leave work early that day and when the store opens, I call them and ask them if they had Super Donkey Kong 1 and 3. THEY STILL DID, so they put them aside for me and stated I had until the end of the day to pick them up. FUCK yes. I leave work an hour early, tear ass to the train station and at 2:05 I was on my way to the city, already questioning my bullheaded decision. Once I arrive in the city, I march to Book-Off and pick up the games, and then leave, successful and satisfied with my purchase. I also went to visit Nintendo World to pick up a Kapp'n plush for Cinemarella, but was stopped by a guy trying to sell my fruit snacks for a dollar.
What.
After dealing with that and picking up Kapp'n, I leave and head home and somehow return beffore 7 0.
So uh yeah that happened.
(Sorry Vipershark if you've lost all respect for me. I really love my Donkey Kongs) ;___;
so yeah that was my weekend. time to hit up those tropics
