if anyone want any of the model files, you can download the pack here. Give credit tho if you upload the models up on here to model resource.

Thanks buddy,
I'm downloading it in this moment.

I will credit you when decide to upload it, anyway. I am not so good at fixing stuff like detective pikachu's face.
so probably it will depend on someone else.  Ouch!

but, just in case is just a problem from the Ohana Rebirth model viewer, then it might be solved automatically when imported to Cinema 4D. who knows. Wink
I wonder if that kind of transparency on pikachu´s face can be easily solved by just tweaking the material itself?... if that's so, it's piece of cake for me and seems to be the key to fix the problem.  Big Grin

edit:
nvm.. can't find a cia of the game..

Of course not, it's very difficult to find the game itself, and even so, it may still exist as 3DS format. I have it in 3DS format and I played this game until complete the main story, Just not 100% becuz there's plenty of creatures yet to capture (Including the Dark Terrycloth that I haven't found yet)... it's pretty much like Dragon Quest Monsters Joker+Pokémon, but based on Toriko Manga/Anime.

PS: besides about Brain Dump... How can I perform such a thing like that? it seems like it's the final option I have.

PS 2: Perhaps I may convert my 3DS rom of Toriko Gourmet Monsters to CIA.
I cannot guarantee success since it requires doing the Xorpad Method but in a different process (I hate making Xorpads). but once I get the CIA, I will send to you on a PM.

You're not bad at this stuff! Are you using Cycles renderer?

ok, Then I gotta do a safe update to 9.2 and install stuff to access the HBL.
I will do the stuff this way, since Xorpads is a pain on my butt with the Gateway method.
Anyway, I will try it for Toriko Gourmet Monsters in order to convert it into CIA.

and BTW, I am so amazed, I expected that the problem would be solved so easily, but not this way. GOOD. Big Grin
About the renderer looks like the same as Cinema 4D has by default, even it's better than C4D default renderer.
Could you tell me which renderer did you used? Was it by any chance VRay?

Thanks guy but I can't take any credit for getting the model to look this awesome. A good freind of mine, and a bit of a smash rival worked with me for like 7 hours to get it looking this good. to answer the question of what i'm using to render yes it is blender cycles. also you guys really want to be blown away. we spent the last hour doing This

granted we just can seem to fix the bald spots and it's a little long for fur, plus we made the skin pink to kinda simulate the shaved look, but my goodness if we get this right this might be the most photorealistic pikachu ever to be made. i'm not trying to brag My guys is just that damn good. if you guys are interested I have the blend files if you know what the hell is wrong with it

I think the only thing wrong with it is that it's photorealistic! Really. Although the lighting could be a little better.

Yeah I think it's a little much and we did it more as an afterthought, although with some finessing we could get it out of the uncanny valley.

Yo, your friend has some really nice renders.
But protip: If you increase render sampling, you'll remove noise from the rendered images.

Mind the necro, but since the game came out here in the West and I've been playing, it moved me to take a look into some of the NPC pokemon models...

Based on the textures I found in my sample, it appears this game re-uses the 6th/7th-gen models (or at least the UV mapping for them).

Kinda sucks since I'd hoped that since they looked somewhat different, they'd be using new models, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

I gave it a shot and tried to use Ohana3DS to convert a model from the ripped files Demonslayerx8 provided, but the textures were all wrong and I don't know why. Does anybody have a specific method to successfully convert this models to FBX and have the textures appear right?

so it's been years, but I still would love to know what's needed to get the Pikachu model approved for the site.

Do you still have the model? It is a pretty good rip, and you could submit it here.

I know I am responding late, but the main character's model is located in product/character as "tim.bch" for his main outfit and in "tim01.bch" for his second outfit.

However while you can easily extract these via SPICA (since they use the common .bch model format), the main issue has to be with the face materials for the facial animations. You may want to ask Turk645 about it though.

For the props and Pokémon models though, it's somewhat simple and less complicated unlike the character models.
