Yes and no. The alpha channels of the normal maps seem to be for specular power, but there's also a third texture that's used for specular colour -- it's the one that's not automatically loaded in when you import the model.

Awww, dammit! Gonna have to fix all my rips now! So where's the spec color map then?

It's in the same folder with the rest of the textures, like I said look for the one that matches both the diffuse and normal maps. I think for the most part they'll be located directly after both. Using Suicune's textures as a reference point:

Top-left is the diffuse, top-right is the normal, bottom-left is the specular power (which is the alpha of the normal map), and bottom-right is specular colour.

Wait, you already said that? Oops. Time to correct my rips!

Edit: Two more questions (sorry to bug you so much!): The black texture with the white light is a env map, right? And Shadow Mewtwo's textures have a solid color as one of the textures - what is that for?

If they're the textures that I'm looking at right now, the "solid color" one (p1015020533) looks like the specular colour texture for the pupils (p1015020531), and the "env map" (p1015020540) is the specular colour for the teeth texture (p1015020538).

Oh, I was way off... Thanks!

Note also that Shadow Mewtwo has a 4th DDS for the crystal and his tail. It apparently controls the intensity of the 'glow' effect found on them.

So, I've gotten Lucario, but which textures are which? Also, why does the main texture for the body have mud splotches all over it while its counterparts don't?

Hi everyone,
Sorry I’m advance if I’m breaking any rules by asking this, but when will the models for pokken tournament DX be available? I want to see if there’s any changes to the geometry or textures compared to the original wii u models.

Hello everyone, Knowdice on my PC account here. If anyone reads this dont bother ripping the models from PTDX. After some romfs dumping and analysing, the models i took from the switch version were exact duplicates of the WII U version. Refer to this thread for model files https://www.vg-resource.com/thread-29211.html. If anyone wants to know anything about the Switch version compared to the wii u version, hit me up.
