It's from demo or the leaked one?

Full version, demo didn't have the battle models packed in, just overworld ones.

I'm just observing though, not releasing. They're out there if you want a nosy yourself.

I just didn't find where the trainer models are or using wrong GARCTool and can't extract them... :/ I interested in both owerworld and battle models.

According to sources:
Overworld NPC models are at a/1/9/6
Battle NPC models are at a/1/7/0
Pokemon models are at a/0/9/4
and battle player models are at a/1/7/1 through a/1/9/5

Thank you but my GARCTool said a/1/9/6 isn't a GARC file :/

But I think not all the pokemon models in a/0/9/4 because the end of files are a big mess the last pokemon is bronzor for me and there are a lot of unopenable bins. Or again my GARCTool is bad

Apparntly the format is differnt or something, this one worked for me.

Ohana seems to get all Pokemons bone animations fine. Fighting animations are the file below the textures, and aime/refresh animations are below that one.
Looks like every Pokemon got a new animation once they are cleaned I think.
Material animations are nowhere to be seen though.

Edit: Okay it seems all Mega Pokemon cannot get the animations imported, Ohana says "Unable to read beyond the end of the stream."
Perhaps they still use the ORAS format of animations?

As I remember (it was too late yesterday) mega evolution animations worked for me, I remembre Blastoise, Pidgeot, Beedrill. But I think some bones or bone weight are missing for example Mega Blastoise can't move his cannons, Mega Pidgeot can't move his talons. I think it can be fixed very easily.

By the way I using the latest Ohana3DS from github.

I am using the latest too.
How strange the ones that errored before work now. I have no idea how I got that error.
Upon checking the error I got as different to the one when importing ORAS bones.

But you are right some parts aren't weighted. Like Mega Lopunny has one part of its ears not working.
And I am not sure how this works for others, but for Lopunny the weights of the incorrect part simply had the wrong name.
There was a vertex group called pm428_51 which had the right weights, I just had to rename it to the proper bone name.

Hmm but how rename bones in the File or there is any software that can do it just I don't know?

I have no idea how the ripping script works, but it seems that for some reason it wrongly assigns particular weights. How you'd fix that I have no idea.

But fixing it in 3D model stuff is straight forward.
I use Blender, so I just took the weights from the wrongly named group and added it onto the proper one.

I can't get it to work. Still the same error, I re-extracted the .cia file... Sad

That's the tricky part. I don't know if I got the files wrongly extracted, but 1/9/6 is not a GARC file. It misses the "CRAG" string at the header and thus it can't be extracted with either GARC tool. The header seems to be a list of addresses or something. I'm now trying to figure out how this file works.

On the other hand, the Pokémon models at 0/9/4 extracted smoothly.

EDIT: nevermind. Seems like files began to extract wrongly at some point. Trying again.

fridge225 can you tell us how you extracted all the files correctly ?
For me all of the bad GARCs are full with null/empty but they have different filesize.

Don't know your case, but seems the cia I got extracts corrupted GARCs starting around a/1/6/8. That's why I could extract Pokémon model files succesfully from a/0/9/4 but got wrong everything else. I'm not sure if some index in the system file is wrong or I have a buggy CTRtool.

Of course this is not the place to ask for a link. BRB searching

EDIT: It was the CTRtool! If this helps you, download the last version and extract the romFS again. https://github.com/profi200/Project_CTR/releases

I'm not gonna lie, i've been after getting the Z-Crystal sprites for a while <xD mainly for a art project, so if someone can huck those my way i'd be happy.. but would those count since this is a model thread?

It seems I had the same problem as Jugol. The Pokemon Model GARC was fine but others didn't extract properly.

To properly extract things.
Well I downloaded the 3DS rom from somewhere.
Decrypted and unpacked the romf using 3DSRomTools, with the makerom and ctrtool from Jungol.
Then I used the Sun and Moon Unpacker on the GARCs.

Would you mind sharing your version of Ohana that can view the resulting files? I'm trying to acquire some models of the battle NPCs relating to Team Skull and the Aether Foundation for a personal project of mine. I would ask for someone to PM me said models, but I figure you all have better things to do than cater to my nonsense.

...Of course I would greatly appreciate anyone sending me said models through PM...if they're willing, haha...
