Can somebody help me I can't figure out what to use to extract files from the Dreamcast Iso of Sonic Adventure 2 and I have already tried some programs already but none of them work. I am trying to extract the files of the game so that I can then rip them like always, especially the models. If anyone knows a good program please let me know as I can't have someone do it for me because I will have to do this again in the future for other games.
Note: I know talking about ROM'S/ISO'S is sort of taboo here, So I will remove this comment or edit it to not iclude it if it bothers any of the staff/moderators etc. It is just that I am desperate to get into the files of the original Dreamcast SA2 and I REALLY need help.
Ok I figured out how to get the data and extract the files from the iso ".cdi" file using a "Deamon Tools" trial, now..... I have a new problem, there are new file types that I just looked up and the tools that I tried to use to open/extract/decompress/unpack/rip from these files did not work.
If anyone has any tool suggestions let me know.
I will update this to have a list of these files below.
.ADX
.AFS
.BIN
.DRV
.MPB
.PRS
.PVM
.PVP/.pVp
.PVR
.SFD
.m1v/.M1V
.MTL
.SCR
And if anyone knows where the models are located please let me know.

On another note, do other games Sonic chars appeared in count for this topic even if not part of the series?

I would count it, at least all the content related to sonic in the non-sonic game.

Have I already mentioned the newer iOS Sonic 4: Ep 1 model? It strangely looks better than the actual model they used previously for Sonic 4: Ep 1 . Only flaw is that the model constantly shows him smiling... except when he's looking up. But yeah... also, the older iOS versions of Sonic 4: Ep 1 have an iPod model.
...and the new ios Sonic 4: I has a graphic bug that displays Lost Labyrinth graphics for a platform in Mad Gear.

.AFS file is a generic archive for PS2 games.
.BIN files are generic binary files. You'll have to reverse-engineer it by yourself.
.PVR files are Dreamcast files, specifically a PowerVR texture file. According to fileinfo.com,
Quote:Texture file used by mobile devices and the Sega Dreamcast; provides a container that hosts compressed texture data that is optimized for POWERVR graphics chips; designed for displaying performance graphics in devices with smaller hardware footprints, such as mobile devices.
.SFD files are generic movie formats. Originally made for the Dreamcast, they were ported over to other consoles. They can be converted to .mpeg files with sfd2mpg.
Some of the other files are described in the post above me.
Some guy who just lurks this place nowadays.

Edit Reason: Asterix & Obelix XXL 2 Sonic cameos
)
I just remembered something. The demos for both Sonic Boom games have low-poly versions of models. Maybe that should get ripped one day but whatever.
EDIT: And I remembered another thing. Asterix & Obelix XXL 2 have Sonic cameos (including other video game cameos) including a Sonic costume for Roman solidiers (who act and sound like Sonic) and springs from Sonic Adventure and onward.

I have had a problem with my rips from Sonic Rush Adventure for a while now, when I try to rip some of the models from the game, sometimes I get errors and nothing loads, if anyone else has this problem or knows how to fix it I would like some help.
Here is a link to my rip of EVERYTHING that I could rip from Sonic Rush Adventure:
http://www.mediafire.com/file/9rw19z0322...Models.zip
In there I have the models that I ripped and the original files that could not be ripped and text files labeled "WARNING" displaying the errors that showed up on screen whenever I tried to to rip from the files that gave me errors, and are currently not able to be ripped from. (At least not by me and what I have been doing so far.) I have been using the MKDS Editor to rip from the files and if anyone can help me finally rip the rest of these models from the game then it will be FULLY RIPPED OF ALL MODELS!
So, if anyone can help or try to help or contact someone that might be able to help would be appreciated.

What applications I need if I want make my own ripped model of princess elise from sonic '06 if i have jailbreak on ps3 or on xbox 360? Is it more simple on xbox 360 or ps3 emulator? Can you tell me how can I do it myself? Btw how can I extract models from Sonic Runners? Do I have to just open sonic runners.apk with unity?
