how long does approval take for models / sprites?
#1
hey! i hope i'm not pestering anybody by asking this, but, i've just been wondering this for a while and im genuinely curious.

i've uploaded kirby's return to dreamland models and sprites within the past few months, and, i've been waiting for them to get approved. yet, none of them changed in status.
here are the models + sprites i ripped:

was there something else i've missed in the process of uploading the models + sheets?
thanks for reading!

The admins down at Models-Resource have a lot on their hands in terms of models, and it takes them quite a while to get through a batch of them. I uploaded a few of my own rips (Which were unapproved sadly because of a transparency issue) around mid-February and hadn't gotten a response on them until about a week ago.
In short, model-approval takes quite some time, and I would just be patient until they get back to you.

And I assume the same situation goes for sprites as well.

after reading, specifically #5, would i still count as being new?
i signed up back in 2012, and i've only started to truly use this site in 2018 (aka this year). i understand the reason entirely, im just not sure if i would be "new" or not.

It's more about the amount of sheet or models you have submitted rather than when you have created your account. If you have submitted a lot of sheet or models of good quality, the more likely the mods and staff are to trust your work.
