Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney models
#16
From what I can tell the models seem to have the 'flipped faces' problem in the OBJ's as well, but the DAE's seem fine enough.

Now just curious, is this format the same as the other Layton 3DS games? Because I've been trying to get a Jean Descole model for ages since the games' release.

Does anyone know where is the file for Kira's model? I can't still figure it out at my own...

Sorry to bump again, but uh...I really want to see the end conclusion of this work. Ploaj man, did you fall off the face of the planet or something?

I really want to get my hands on the tools for this game, and I'm wondering if the project has just been dropped...I hope not.

I was waiting until I could sit down and revise the format.
I think I got it fixed up quite nicely now, but some models still have tiny issues and don't open properly.
That's mostly because the tool used to extract the xsfa exports some files wrong.

I also found bone animations

Once everything is cleaned up I can resume adding them and fix some of the already added ones that have messed up normals.

Karameru (https://github.com/IcySon55/Kuriimu) handles PLvsAA's .fa and .xc files almost perfectly at this point

How does one use this to convert the character models? I've managed to use it to extract textures, but nothing else...

You can't convert models with Kuriimu. It's just an archive/ image /text editor.

I've not managed to convert the .xc models into something usable. I was merely suggesting a tool that handled the xfsa and other Level-5 related formats well and with the correct offsets

Woah.. even skeletal animations? Are you planning on releasing the tools eventually?
