Correct me if i'm wrong, But aren't they a part of the texture? If they are you might have some luck with GIMPs Clone stamp tool.

Thanks for answering! But I found what happened.

After exporting the model as another file type, i found out those seams were considered as sharp edges by Blender, so i cleared them.

Thanks nonetheless!
Add me if you´d like to! (May not be online until late nov)

Hi there! idk about how alive this thread currently is, but I've been getting back into messing with game files, and to practice I am going with converting a lot of pokemon models and anims from SM and SWSH into another format, but everywhere I look they appear to be missing some things, so I made a new account for this, hopefully someone can help.

(RTB's folder and models resource lack these, and most other links I find are either deleted or have files removed/changed)

If anyone has any of these files and can link them here to archive them it'd be greatly appreciated.

>SM/USUM trainer models and animations in Binary, .BCH, or anything compatible with Ohana3ds (Examples of missing ones: Lillie, Lusamine, Gladion, Red to name a few) (Pokemon models and anims are already archived, and some trainer models and anims in .dae and .smd formats, but I'm looking in original Ohana3DS/SPICA compatible formats, for trainer files)

>SWSH .gfpak files (All, pokemon, trainers, etc) (Even though the .gfbmdl files are already uploaded)

Sorry for coming on like this, but I can't find them anywhere, and this seemed like the place to ask

Can someone give me a step by step tutorial on how to rip textures from the Switch Pokemon games, specifically SwoShi? I really want those textures.

So how do I get the animations? Why are there so few Pokémon models ripped? Why were the 3DS ones so easy to get, yet the Switch ones are impossible to find?

Here's what I've recently ripped from Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu / Let's Go Eevee:

The switch files are in a different format than the other games. That's why no one has gotten the animations yet (I'm waiting for someone to figure out how to rip them as well)

The models, on the other hand, are all on the main page here. If you have the right programs, they're all able to be ripped. I've got them all on my PC. Just the animations no one has (or if they did, they're not telling anyone)

RTB's got it, the rips somehow use the same format as Smash Ultimate's, so he's doing workarounds with his SSBU importer.

Yep. Only one thing left to do for that, and that's to finish up the material parser (it's pretty much the only major difference between the New Pokémon Snap and Smash Ultimate's formats). I'll also add the character models to the folder in the first post for others when I do (stage models you're on your own for, they're ~3GB compressed and I'm starting to run a little low on space on my MEGA account).

I know this is probably more of the Texture Resource-related question, but what could possibly these textures from New Snap be for? They have the "_par" suffix. I can't find a single known texture map in Blender/Max that'd fit.

The PAR textures are..
R - Roughness
G - Ambient Occlusion
B - Specular Cavity
A - Metal

Indeed, it does make sense once you break down the individual channels. Thank you.

I think i need to add textures to the materials. The switch toolbox can't export a model with textures
