If it took them only recently to extract the M&R crew for the models resource... probably best not to hold your breath.

I still remember the struggle of ripping the original and searching everywhere for little support for ripping models from the recent iterations of the Snowdrop engine.

What I meant was, I bet there's going to be a lot more people trying to rip these models (specifically Rayman himself), now that the DLC is out.

Wait no longer, as I'll rip Rayman and some new DLC characters later today!

Please share if you have any luck with extracting the model! I was able to rip from The Last Spark Hunter DLC to study the models, but trying to extract Rayman from the ripped files gives me this Noesis error.

Strangely enough, enemies models from the DLC work just fine including The Phantom.

I'm currently on my laptop and don't have my dump of the game; are you able to share a sample of Rayman's model file, and I'll see if I encounter the error?

Yeah! I can send over the model file. Is dms here fine or would you like me to send it elsewhere?

We’re currently having an issue with the model importing into Noesis due to an error with the Sparks of Hope plugin. But we have some good news: someone has been commissioned to fix the script and allow Rayman’s model to be imported properly. But yes, as TwoTailedHedgehog2004 said, it’s best to just give it some time.

Yeah. As soon as the issue with extracting Rayman's files is fixed, I'm sure DJ Fox has plans to submit it to the site (like he did with the other Sparks of Hope models). It might take a while for it to be publically available through Models Resource, though, considering the amount of submissions across all 4 sites at the moment.

Hello Sean! I was recently able to commission another fix from Petrgold of XeNTaX forums to patch the .mmb Noesis script. This version should be compatible with Rayman's model!

.zip   fmt_SOH_mmb_RaymanPatch.zip (Size: 4.71 KB / Downloads: 203)

SOME NOTES:
  • FBX doesn't seem to export correctly for Rayman's model? Importing the file into Blender results in the program indefinitely hanging. Might just be a problem on my end, though.
  • If FBX isn't an option, exporting as DAE seems to work fine, but the armature's bones don't directly connect to one another and isn't ideal. GLTF exports with a proper armature, but Rayman's guitar model appears immensely bugged as a result. For best results, I recommend merging the two, using the DAE export's mesh data and the GLTF export's armature.
  • While this version of the script should also be compatible with prior SoH models, do note that it does not seem to retain vertex colors (which only appears on a few models, such as Midnite's). I'd personally recommend this script only for the specific purpose of utilizing it on Rayman's model file.

I'd try to make a model release myself, but I don't have a RomFS dump myself to play around with yet, so I'm afraid I only have a (provided) Rayman model with no exported textures.

Last thing: his eyes might need some tweaking lol

After testing the .FBX model export from Noesis it works fine on my end, expect 2 slight things:
  • When clearing the user transforms of the bones to get them back to "normal", the eyes are quite stretched and not positioned correctly. I remember seeing this with Peach's eyes from her Kingdom Battle model.
  • The shoes still retain their wacky weight painting. I'm not sure if this is fixable; if not, I don't think the model would be accepted on tMR in any state, be it .OBJ or .FBX.

Is this an issue with the model rip itself (when viewing it in Noesis)?
I have no idea if this will work, but have you tried exporting it in a different format (like DAE), and then using Autodesk FBX Converter to convert it into an FBX?
