Edit Reason: forgot style
)
So recently I have been making a a sprite of a Met in the style of Earthbound Beginnings (Or Mother in JPN). I felt good about myself, especially how I managed to get the colour pallets and styling (sorta). One issue I ran into was designing the side view of the Met lifting its helmet, which was very frustrating yet I overcame the obstacle.
As I was about to finish it, I had overarching paranoia that it would get rejected, after a small kerfuffle regarding a suggestion that's now removed...
Now I would like to know what you think about this custom if you don't mind. Because if it's good enough, I'll upload it to Spriters Resource.

Honestly I'm not even sure if this is enough to really feel like it's warranted to be it's own submission.
Lets be real, the Mother series is known for a simplistic art style there's no avoiding that. And the Met is a pretty simplistic enemy. The in battle sprite on it's own is fine but where I see a few problems is that the over world sprites just don't work that well for it to feel like its Met. But I don't even think that's a fault of your own because of the kind of restrictions you're working with given this is the NES game we're talking about.
Also, word of caution. Don't put in empty space tags and try to use up as much space as you can on your sheets.

Thanks for the advice, I'll redo it. PS: What is reason the reason that the overworld sprite doesn't feel like it's a met.

Readability of the over world sprites if it comes down to anything isn't that great in my opinion.
Although, I do wonder if someone else is seeing the same thing I'm seeing in that respect.

You’re right; something isn’t right. And that something is the sense of entitlement displayed by so many over the time our staff generously donates to keep this place running. There are thousands of pending submissions and only a handful of people going through them when their real lives allow them the time to do so. Learn some patience.
