Can we see some of your work first?
A M&L Link Project? No...just..no. >:/
Maybe Link as a cameo(like how he was originally going to be in M&L) but that should just be it.

AJ: Sure. I was just finishing up an ML Link (standing forward only)
Starpower: :'( Well, it was going to be a bunch of characters...

=[ Starpower, don't discourage him until you've seen some of his work. It may be amazing.
If it's not, then I stand corrected.
Edit: Wow, now that I've seen it, it's actually pretty good!
Good work, Black Boo.

The animation is very fast, lol.
Three things:
1. When one of the arms goes up the same side's leg should also move forward. What you have now kinda looks like a moon walk.
2. I don't really like the eyes. It's too bland; just black and white.
3. The head moves too much.
Fix these, and it'll be better.

1. That's the ML walk for ya.
2. Uh...that's how all ML eyes are.
3. Define. Up and down? If so, that's the whole body moving.

1. No, that is not right.
2. Yes, but real M&L stuff use the face shading to contrast with the eyes. Basically, yours stand out too much.
3. Yes, up and down. The head should not move as much as the feet do, it looks like he's head-banging.

All of this is asuming this Link is based on Toon Link.
The legs are fine. Get up, and walk while swinging your arms. You left arm moves with your right leg, etc. It's to keep balance.
Look at most other overworld sprites. The eyes are only different colors, pretty much, if there eyes have little/no pupils. Like Bowser, who's sprites show him with red+black eyes. Link's eyes, however, are like 101% pupil, so it's reasonable for his eyes to be black colored.
His head matches the way Link walks in Wind Waker (sorta). Also, it doesn't look like he's headbanging, he looks like a little kid walking.
(As you can tell, I think the sprites are awesome)

Haha. I suppose I stand corrected. However, I still think it's off a little. Maybe because the animation is too quick for my taste.

They're actually based off of OoA/OoS link for now.
And feel free to sprite anything and post it here.

I think the animation speed is about right. It definitely fits the style. Granted I'm not a spriter...
