yeah

thanks for beating me to the punch kojj but yeah - Bryan Lee O' Malley is a huge nerd if you didn't figure that out already and used a lot of NES references in the Scott Pilgrim series, i bet you guys thought "crash and the boys" was referring to a PS1 game

tell me if you notice anything goofy about the wolverines' moveset in the Forest Sabbatical stage, heh

scott pilgrim heavily references river city ransom which explains why people yell BARF and drop money when they die
there's a ton of videogame jokes throughout the series
