KOF 2002 sprites - Metal Mario - 01-14-2011 Well, I'm new here and I have something I need share with you. From King of Fighters 2002, Rugal. I hope this will be useful to you. Rugal from KOF 2002 RE: KOF 2002 sprites - Davy Jones - 01-14-2011 Wow, this is a really huge sheet =0 RE: KOF 2002 sprites - KingPepe - 01-14-2011 MOTHERF- that's huge. Some things to nitpick about though: 1) You don't need to go crazy with the crediting. 2) I noticed you used ShinRyoga's Super Mario in the sheet. You should really give credit to him. (also did you rip Rugal from someone's MUGEN character?) RE: KOF 2002 sprites - Random Talking Bush - 01-14-2011 Since you're new and all, mind showing some proof that you ripped these sprites? RE: KOF 2002 sprites - Metal Mario - 01-15-2011 Well, if all here are watching my sprites sheet, with Rugal and some bosses, Can you find all from their respective games? This is a challenge. And about King Pepe's comment, I'm agree. I think I should give credit to ShinRyoga for use some pics of his work. But, how do you know that? I never think that some users here can see this little trick. But if this sprites sheet doesn't useful to you, just send me a message here and I'll redo this image. RE: KOF 2002 sprites - KingPepe - 01-15-2011 The sheet's not useless at all. It's just you don't have to go into the whole credit thing in the sheet. I'm not sure if anyone whose looking through the sheets are actually going to care about your little project. RE: KOF 2002 sprites - Davy Jones - 01-15-2011 There's blank space anyway. Just two pictures and a little bit text, I can't see the problem with it. Edit: This part of the effects looks very unsteady in height, are you sure it's correctly displayed on your sheet? RE: KOF 2002 sprites - Metal Mario - 01-16-2011 The size is okay. Want to check the ROM? You want the ROM? RE: KOF 2002 sprites - Davy Jones - 01-16-2011 If you're sure, I believe it. RE: KOF 2002 sprites - Magma MK-II - 01-17-2011 Did you ripped from screenshots or you used the tile viewer? RE: KOF 2002 sprites - Metal Mario - 01-17-2011 Screenshots, yes. As always, you know, cut, paste and place, perhaps it does not seem easy? Or are that bad I cut these sprites or something? There are errors in this sprites sheet? Can someone give me the icon to post my sprites? Is something missing here? Somebody answer me. Correct me or not survive here no one more day. RE: KOF 2002 sprites - Magma MK-II - 01-18-2011 You may want to try the Kawaks tile viewer, as those sprites that are cut in the top may be incomplete. RE: KOF 2002 sprites - Random Talking Bush - 01-18-2011 OBJECTION! I have my reasoning to believe that you didn't actually didn't rip these sprites. The way the effects are ripped tipped me on this. I took a look at the effect sprites that Davias showed in his post, and how uneven they were, and compared them to the sprites that Tin used for his MUGEN conversion of Rugal (from King of Fighters 2002). Take the seventh sprite for that effect. Now, just to make sure, I compared it to the same sprite in-game. First of all, the one on your sheet is missing a noticable chunk off the top, and has the same dimensions as the ones from Tin's Rugal. Secondly, Tin's Rugal 2002 has palette problems. Let's take a closer look, shall we? Don't mind the palette difference between the first and second sprites (MAME makes the palettes slightly brighter, I've noticed), but note that there's an entire shade of red that's missing in the second and third sprites. If these were ripped from the game itself, it wouldn't have had that palette problem in the first place! So, because of that, I have come to the conclusion that you did not rip these sprites yourself, Metal Mario, and you resorted to stealing them from a MUGEN conversion. Care to say anything in your defence? RE: KOF 2002 sprites - Metal Mario - 01-18-2011 I have not used Fighter Factory, to take or, as you say, "steal" these sprites of Rugal, of some char. If some say that some effects do not have a credible size, well, maybe cut them wrong. If you say that the palette is bad, okay, if you desire, I can redo my sprites. If you think it's weird to have everything in this file, the effects, particularly, why do you think I put it? For though by this comment lost my profile on this great website, many users make their sprites with so many things they needed. Do you not think I'm not tired of it? Do you think I should continue with this failure? Do you think I should continue discussions with the internet, why not find what I want? Do you really poor in this world I do it all? When you cease to prejudice the beginners to be better than the pros? How many users here have the stupid problems palette in his sprites? But many users do not notice? And if you think you and all who put their comments, which use a char for MUGEN, well, you want to admit it? Okay, I admit all these false things you say, and admit it easily because I know that's not true. And if I used a MUGEN to make some sprites, what would be the problem? Only the specialist for this set the example, and if those things that leave the viewer unsatisfied, not my fault, I'm just as each and every one of the spriters here, present here and now. And among many sprites unnecessary, why they have to judge me, when you can not judge that unnecessary work? But as I said before, if my sprites are bad, comment. Commented that it wasn't the exact color, and of course I'm ready to redo my sprites, if desired. I said. RE: KOF 2002 sprites - Random Talking Bush - 01-18-2011 You know, I find it hard to believe you when the cutoffs for the effects match the one for Tin's Rugal exactly. There's no way that ripping them from the game like that would be coincidental. And, of course, having the Mario sprites from ShinRyoga's custom Mario for MUGEN in your tags doesn't help the matters any. |
