RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Koopaul - 10-14-2010 A lot of them are already Pokemon though... Hm... Try to find a crustacean that hasn't been used before. RE: TSR PokeDex Project - StarSock64 - 10-14-2010 Do you guys remember this guy? http://news.ninemsn.com.au/national/1034874/monster-bug-attaches-itself-to-submarine Also there's all kinds of different crabs aren't there? We could just make a crab that looks a little different, since krabby and kingler are pretty straight-forward RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Koopaul - 10-14-2010 Ambulocetus http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ambulocetus It was called the walking whale and is the early form of whales when they used to walk on land. RE: TSR PokeDex Project - X Gamer 66 - 10-14-2010 I kind of like the "water bird" idea. Like a duck/swan/pelican/eagle/etc. (10-14-2010, 06:55 PM)Koopaul Wrote: A lot of them are already Pokemon though... Hm... Try to find a crustacean that hasn't been used before.Wait, why does this matter? Aren't there already tons of duplicate Pokemon types? Seal = Spheal, Chimchar = Mankey, Kakuna = Metapod, etc? RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Ton - 10-15-2010 How about a dolphin - bigger dolphin - orca? RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Nindo - 10-15-2010 How about a Nautilus? It's the best animal to ever exist and it has never been done before in Pokemon. Omanyte and Omastar are not Nautili. RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Ton - 10-15-2010 I think Omastar is based on one... RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Nindo - 10-15-2010 Nope, Omanyte/Omastar are based on Allonautili. Allonautili are extremely different from Nautili. Allonautili are extinct (hence one of the biggest reasons Omanyte/Omastar is based off of them) and considered to be the predecessor to Nautili, however over time (through microevolution) Nautili have acquired many morphological differences. The biggest one being the chambered shell. RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Perseus - 10-15-2010 (10-15-2010, 11:35 AM)Tonberry2k Wrote: How about a dolphin - bigger dolphin - orca? Sorry, I tried that one. Apparently it has to be able to walk RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Baegal - 10-15-2010 Why does it have to be able to walk? I actually really like the idea of some sort of cephalopod RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Perseus - 10-15-2010 All the other starter Pokémon walk RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Nindo - 10-15-2010 (10-15-2010, 05:10 PM)Mister Monday Wrote: All the other starter Pokémon walkso...... doesn't mean they always have to nor does it mean they always will by Gamefreak, one day we might get a starter that doesn't walk RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Ton - 10-15-2010 Hippo? RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Nindo - 10-15-2010 That sounds like a viable, reasonable choice. The only hippo we've had so far is Hippopotas/Hippowdon. It'd be interesting to see a water hippo. RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Perseus - 10-16-2010 HIPPO! I like it |
