is there a reason Lucas's style seems different? I'd ask "are you making him older?" but even adult characters in Mother 3 are two heads tall.
you don't have to change it, I'm just genuinely curious since you seem to have everything else in the game's normal style.
nevertheless his head looks a tad flat to me.

The backgrounds look pretty much exactly like the original mother 3 tiles (though whether thats a good thing or not is up to the person looking at this). Lucas and the Drago look really out of place, I think you should focus on trying to give Lucas anatomy similiar to the in battle Claus sprite seen at the end of the game.

i noticed lucas's head seem pretty flat and he seems out of place so perhaps redo the sprite in a more chibi style like ton said

To add to my previous post, I think you should remake the tiles with a plat former in mind. These are just different versions of the exact same mother 3 tiles in game. Add more detail, some stripes, make it look less repeated, different colors idk, it just shouldn't be exactly like the mother 3 tiles (imo).
