It's good, but it's the kind of thing that you either want to see or have no interest in altogether.
Guarantee you'll enjoy it if you enjoyed the graphic novels, though.

one of them absolutely hated it because they didn't get *any* of the video game references
but I loved the hell out of it and now I want to read the comic all the way through : )

also the blatant use of zelda music.
its hard to MISS the references.
stuff like chaos theatre(earthbound) and clash at demonhead are pretty obscure though
