RE: [GAME][FINISHED (but still worked on)] Final Columbus - Yal - 05-26-2011 Quote:Going to options... holding down left arrow to reduce volume to 0... I have to click it a hundred times to mute it? Ok, I'll just mute my computer. Did you find a file in the ZIP that was labeled "dontreadme.txt"? Man, why did you think an indie developper actually included a readme file? Because you should read it. I've made some new graphics for my upcoming tank-based shmup trying to take advice to heart. Are these still awful? I think I'll leave this forums until I can draw. Meanwhile, I'm gonna boost my ego by churning out stuff like this to n00bs that draws even worse than me, and leech tSR for ripped graphics without giving credit to the rippers. Just because I love to leech. Have a nice day, //Yal RE: [GAME][FINISHED (but still worked on)] Final Columbus - LeleleleMAXIMUM - 05-26-2011 what people are saying is the game is good, but needs better graphics. we know that gameplay is important, but you can't deny that nobody would play something that hurts the eyes. and besides, are you going to tell me for every game you bought, you went and read the manual? i can say i've almost always just grabbed the controller and tried out the game. good controls should be intuitive. buuuut since you're leaving anyway this is all irrelevant RE: [GAME][FINISHED (but still worked on)] Final Columbus - Gors - 05-26-2011 which is a fucking shame if you tell me. I got interested a little before, but now I know I won't be touching this for a long time. RE: [GAME][FINISHED (but still worked on)] Final Columbus - Codestar - 05-26-2011 Ego doesn't matter if your talented peers see you as a novice. The better thing to do is stick here and hone your skills, rather than wimping out when people give you criticism. If you don't want to improve then who's to say you won't improve your game design skills either? Why would we bother playing your game if you don't want to release the best game possible? |
