Heh heh, though I'd love to see full level sets, I can understand hesitation in doing so. However, you say tilesets are in the works? That'd be helpful.

Tilesets are now up and pending approval. They're 16x16 tiles, pretty easy to work with.

If you're really interested, I can ask Shane about the .ltb and .lvb file formats (As far as I can tell, .ltb are the tilesets, and .lvb are other objects, like what enemies go where). The formats do look quite complex, though. As I said before, I don't really think it would be worth adding anything to the rip; it'd just be for science anyway. Big Grin

I WOULD really like the level maps themselves, but if it's too much effort, I can understand it.
On another note, I noticed someone missing from the NPCs. Chester, the blue-haired merchant fellow. You have only one fo his sprites as 'shadymerchant' I think...I think it's him, kinda hard to tell. But he has quite a few animations himself.

You know, I had some trouble with empty images in some of the .ANB files, and this is one of them. Looking at the data size, it looks like all the images are in the first WFLZ compression header, which would explain a lot. Good catch!

EDIT: Yep, that'd do it.

Yep, the checkpoint image was one of the ones that was broken. I uploaded a new version of the sheets that were broken as a result of the format I described. If you download the "Objects" sheet again, it'll be there.

Just necroing this thread to ask if Daxar would like to look at the PS3 version's files which include the Kratos cameo as they seem to be in big endian unlike the PC version which is in little endian.

Update on Plague Knight expansion thingy:

It looks like the file format for .anb has changed. I'm currently juggling computers, since I just built a new one and all my code/programs are still on the old, but I've got a free week between work and school so I'll give it a closer look soon hopefully!

EDIT: Kratos was simple enough; the format was the same as the old version, only big-endian. Because I'm lazy, I built it on a big endian mac I have laying around and boom, done:

(prolly should have uploaded into a PS3 section but I'm a dumb)
I didn't see anything else different/of interest in the PS3 files given (aside from the Kratos level tileset... which I don't even remember how I extracted in the first place), so that's it for the PS3 version as far as I'm concerned.

EDIT 2: Now we're cracking! I just have no idea what they've added, so there will be a bit of work along those lines. In the meantime, new program version is here (not tested extensively): https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/31816885/programs/SKDecompress_PlagueKnightExpac.zip

Do you intend to rip the Battletoads (Xbox360) or the amiibo costumes (Wii U)? Also Shovel Knight's armor palettes (all versions) are missing.

I currently don't have access to an Xbox or Wii U. If someone does and sends me some .pak files to extract, I definitely can. As it stands, I'm unable to.

Added new palettes (may take a bit to get approved).
