RE: the poop happens world we live in thread 2XXX - Marth - 11-16-2012 It's 1:23 am and I'm still typing this fucking research report laghkldsgh slag FUCK THIS SO MUCH RE: the poop happens world we live in thread 2XXX - Kriven - 11-16-2012 So does anyone else have a chronic, irrational fear of the dark to the point where they stay up until the sun is out? Anybody? RE: the poop happens world we live in thread 2XXX - Garamonde - 11-16-2012 (11-16-2012, 05:52 AM)Kriven Wrote: So does anyone else have a chronic, irrational fear of the dark to the point where they stay up until the sun is out? Maybe leave a nightlight/room light on? RE: the poop happens world we live in thread 2XXX - Vipershark - 11-16-2012 I think I used to be like that a few years ago. Don't get me wrong, it's not like I was afraid of the dark or anything; I just felt this huge unexplainable uneasiness every night when it came time to turn the lights off which led to me standing there for hours after I was supposed to be in the bed some nights too reluctant to flip the switch. It was like the combination of the dark and the dead silence put me on edge and I just couldn't shake the feeling. Fortunately, that all went away once I was finally allowed to put my computer in my room. Since it's on all the time, the glow of the LEDs and the whirring of the fans stopped the problem pretty much instantly. Now I can walk around my house in pitch black and it doesn't affect me at all. Jetters is right; you don't necessarily need a full-blown nightlight, but perhaps having something that gives off a glow will help. RE: the poop happens world we live in thread 2XXX - Gwen - 11-16-2012 Yeah, up until a few years ago, I required a lamp or some light in the hallway. The dark just made me uneasy. Now I sleep in pitch black RE: the poop happens world we live in thread 2XXX - Mutsukki - 11-16-2012 Yeah, what Viper says is what happens with me sometimes, the lack of noise is really unsettling. I used to be somewhat afraid of the dark (I still kinda am when it involves mirrors), but nowadays I find it to be really comfortable in a weird way. I feel better when I sleep and it's totally dark, rather than when the sun is coming up. RE: the poop happens world we live in thread 2XXX - Vipershark - 11-16-2012 Yeah, I actually find the dark rather relaxing now. I feel better when I sleep and it's totally dark, rather than when the sun is coming up.That's one of the things that's hitting me hardest with working overnights, I come home when the sun is rising and it creeps through my shades and makes my room distractingly bright. I think my mom was going to look into getting curtains for me though. EDIT: Before I post my story, this is another forum, you're pretty radular Dazz. It really annoys me how some administrators think just because they run their sites, they have the right to talk down on others in a way that would be deemed against the rule for anyone else. It's fucking ridiculous, and I honestly feel like I'm about to be warned or temp-banned, hell I might be perma-banned, considering they don't even know how to update the warning %'s, all because I'm letting him know he doesn't have to be such a jerk. I posted that some guy is being hilarious on another (pretty easy to find since it's popular) website in an article, and he just went in on me with this whole post about how he LOVES people who feel the need to say something and then don't back it up with links, in a much more juvenile and passive aggressive tone, instead of just asking for a link. Just something that irks me a little on this otherwise great day. Well I guess I'm not banned, now just him and others are mocking me instead of actually discussing the actual topic RE: the poop happens world we live in thread 2XXX - Goemar - 11-17-2012 Okay house... where is the red "you were out" post office paper... RE: the poop happens world we live in thread 2XXX - alexmach1 - 11-17-2012 computer mouse's x-axis wheel broke, and I have the week off. that normally would be a good thing, but i am stuck with a PC that has windows XP: work edition with less than a gig of RAM and no video card. especially sucks since I have work to do. RE: the poop happens world we live in thread 2XXX - Candel - 11-17-2012 Forearm got crushed what happened was that someone pushed an extremely fat teacher and she literally rolled down the stairs and crushed a group of people including me, Now, I can't extend my foream or bend my hand, It's only the nerves that were a bit bruised and the whole arm kind of spasmes, but I got lucky. Some people didn't even manage to come to school yesterday. RE: the poop happens world we live in thread 2XXX - Previous - 11-17-2012 Ow, that sounds awful. I hope you will recover soon. Restricted arm and hand functionality can be kinda annoying. Noone here would have ever dared to push a teacher, eeeeh. RE: the poop happens world we live in thread 2XXX - puggsoy - 11-17-2012 I bet you're better off than whoever pushed the teacher. RE: the poop happens world we live in thread 2XXX - Marth - 11-17-2012 I saw my old drawing mentor. I took the high road and didn't say anything to him, he stared at me angrily and then when I realized it was him he turned away from me. I wish I would've told him to go fuck himself in an eloquent manner. But I was with my boss so I didn't want to make a scene. RE: the poop happens world we live in thread 2XXX - Goemar - 11-18-2012 My body, it huuuuuuuuuuuuurts |
