RE: Roach's slow work - MotorRoach - 09-23-2014 yey RE: Roach's slow work - MotorRoach - 09-29-2014 Did the outlining for him, will color after I get back from the art class. RE: Roach's slow work - The Ninja Raccoon - 09-29-2014 'Ello Roach Progress is daunting as usual Totallt not anticipating for anything Hitmonlee-related =I RE: Roach's slow work - MotorRoach - 09-29-2014 Base colors applied, yas. RE: Roach's slow work - MotorRoach - 10-05-2014 Damn, only now I realized I forgot to animate his idle for crouching. Hopefully I'll come up with something for it later on. RE: Roach's slow work - Gors - 10-07-2014 I really like this! I am just weirded out a little with the shading on the right leg (the one with the knee pointing down). Something looks weird in the animation. RE: Roach's slow work - FarmerM - 10-07-2014 (10-07-2014, 06:19 AM)Gors Wrote: I really like this! One of the frames has a lil pixel segment that kinda pops out. RE: Roach's slow work - Neslug - 10-07-2014 What bothers me is the ankle twisting at an unrealistic angle, as the perspective of the leg is from the side while the foot faces the screen. The foot would need to move into a different position to fix this. Regardless, great work Roach, the animations are very smooth! RE: Roach's slow work - MotorRoach - 10-08-2014 Updated the broken ankle twist, and (hopefully) fixed the leg shading. RE: Roach's slow work - Gors - 10-08-2014 I think you should apply a more apparent bend on his right foot. RE: Roach's slow work - MotorRoach - 10-09-2014 RE: Roach's slow work - MotorRoach - 10-10-2014 A concept for his crouch idle animation. Thoughts? RE: Roach's slow work - MotorRoach - 10-18-2014 Does anybody thinks I should try to make the lower body move somehow? I did try to make the movement subtle, so it was hard for me to imagine it moving. RE: Roach's slow work - DragonDePlatino - 10-18-2014 The lower body...what if Hitmonchan leaned a little bit of his weight onto his left knee? Or maybe he could raise himself up a bit by his toes, like he's ready to stand up at any moment. I think a leaning-forwards animation would look pretty natural, too. RE: Roach's slow work - MotorRoach - 10-18-2014 What you mentioned did sound like a good idea, so I gave it a slight test attempt at it (here hoping I didn't end up exaggerating on the movement). Which one would you guys prefer better? |
