RE: Darkgrievous and his rips - DarkGrievous7145 - 04-12-2016 Yeah, and this is what I am doing, actually. The sheet shown in those previews is my master assembly sheet. It's a like 11-layer .pdn yeah, the "objects" I have mixed feelings where to put. And simple fact is, all of the objects behave more like enemies. the stage backgrounds, themselves, will go on their own sheets. Currently, I am using 512x512 sheets, but these really large sprites with many many frames likely may go on 1028x1028. (and maybe larger than that!) Stage-based enemy and object sprites was considered, but ultimately dropped in favor of smashing them all together. I could still easily split objects off into their own thing, very easily. Speaking of sprite organization, though, I have a hard time doing ANYTHING with the boss sprites you ripped. Anyways, I'll work more on this project in a bit. RE: Darkgrievous and his rips - DarkGrievous7145 - 04-12-2016 slightly outdated preview of today's work: the stage backgrounds are pretty awful to rip... |
