RE: Random Talking Bush's Submissions - tombmonkey - 10-15-2013 Hey dude, I know I wonder if you could take a request? Since you seem to have bossed both new Rayman games, is there a chance of you poking around the files and see if you can dig the background materials? Those would make incredible reference material for artists trying to paint in that brutally awesome style and level of quality. (me for example, would be incredibly useful to see the pieces to get insight on how they are constructed, and see the colors and brushstrokes without 3 or 4 screen filters on top of them, like it happens when looking at the game) Please take it into consideration, backgrounds are a huge part of why those games look incredibly awesome. RE: Random Talking Bush's Submissions - Random Talking Bush - 10-15-2013 Yeah, the background images should be no problem to get, they're stored the same way as the character images. All I need to do is convert 'em all from DDS to PNG, and they're good to go. I can help you with that if you want, I have the PC version of both games so if you need help you can tell me how to unpack the games files. All credit goes to you of course. Maybe he's busy? Maybe you are being a pest? I don't think harassing him on all the contact methods possible will make him any more willing to help you out. RE: Random Talking Bush's Submissions - Garamonde - 10-19-2013 Yes, as a matter of fact, you are. I know it's hard for you to see, but this happens so often that it's really irritating to him. He is a busy person and on top of that, he has so many projects and things to rip on his plate that he is overwhelmed beyond his mind. I don't know how he keeps his sanity and still stays such a nice guy, but please, for the love of God, just be patient or else he won't want to do it at all. I'm sure he'd try to fulfill all his requests in the world if he had the time, but he doesn't, so just be understanding and leave him be. By the way, he doesn't have to be online at all times of the day or even every day, he has the right to live his own life. I don't like to say things like this, but if you post here again asking where your rips are, I'll have to issue a warning. Are we clear here? RE: Random Talking Bush's Submissions - Random Talking Bush - 10-19-2013 Patience. That's all you need. That and it'll take a while to upload over 1.5GB worth of sounds on my 80KB/s upload-speed connection. RE: Random Talking Bush's Submissions - Carpaccio - 10-22-2013 Hey, I keep forgetting to ask, but how in the world did you manage to rip Prinny 2's sprites...I mean I used all the programs needed to decompress things, but in TiledGGD I can't seem to get them to display properly. Whenever I manage to see something in it, they're incredibly small and squished. I was hoping to manage the Asagi Wars bosses and such, but it's not getting done properly in any way I try. I hate to bother you again with what's probably been answered before, but I don't really have any other ideas... By the way, I missed commenting on your most current rips, which are fantastic. You never cease to amaze, fellow. I always look forward to see what's next from you. I hate to bother you again with what's probably been answered before, but I don't really have any other ideas...I was actually able to use TiledGGD with just the ANIME.DAT file, I just needed to set up the bitrate and widths up properly. On that note, I actually have a few sprite sheets that I've neglected to finish up which are near completion, for Wuxiangfen and Mustard, among other things. I should get back to those before I forget again. And speaking of which, here's three sprite sheets I updated recently, which I'll post here before I yes. Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory: I've updated this sheet with the other half of the portraits (the ones with the pixelly-heart backdrop), which I missed on my first two search-throughs. Of course, it didn't help that the images weren't exactly out in the open... Rayman Legends: This was already posted up on the site in an earlier update, but I got the missing sprite images. I actually had to get them from the PlayStation 3 version of the game, as for some reason they didn't extract from either the PC or XBox 360 versions of the game. Wish I could say the same about the Grand Minimus, I'll have to find another way to get his missing sprite sets... Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster Busts Loose: Whoa, I haven't seen this sprite sheet in years. I went back for this mainly to rip Duck Vader's laser which I didn't get way back when (as I didn't know about vSNES at the time), but I also updated it with the separate Duck Vader helmet sprite, and wouldn't you believe it I had also been missing Football Buster's skidding animation, so I ripped that too. I wouldn't be surprised if there was anything else I missed. RE: Random Talking Bush's Submissions - Garamonde - 11-14-2013 New rips are awesome and all, but am I the only one who finds it just as exciting to see people go back and improve upon their old sheets? RE: Random Talking Bush's Submissions - Dazz - 11-14-2013 Tiny Toons was one of my favourite games on the SNES as a kid. |
