RE: GAMER LOUNGE 20XX (NO CASUALS!!) - Kriven - 01-20-2015 Club Nintendo is closing in all regions. Here's US information: The last day to register products is March 31. The last day to redeem your coins is June 30th. From this point until the end of the year they will not remove any downloadable games from the CN store and claim to eventually add "dozens" of downloadable titles, so it's probably a good idea to wait until that least week in June. All current Club Nintendo members will be eligible for a "free" Flipnote Studio 3D download code sometime later in the month. Whether this will cost coins or not is unknown, but I don't believe it will. They are still encouraging members to reach Platinum status by the end of March, so I think it's safe to assume that Elite Rewards are still happening. All unused coins will be deleted on July 1st. RE: GAMER LOUNGE 20XX (NO CASUALS!!) - BullockDS - 01-20-2015 Hmm. Hearing this, I can't say I'm too surprised, especially considering (especially in America) how apparently the overall quality of rewards has declined (particularly in how physical rewards have been phased out greatly in favor of almost entirely non-exclusive software) and how stock of what few physical rewards left is hardly replenished. I admittedly would not know about all this first-hand, as I quit doing Club Nintendo things right after I got my Game and Watch:Ball like two years ago or whatever. This is a shame, since I was hoping for a chance for Club Nintendo to dole out new exclusive Gamecube controllers sorta like they did around 2004. ive been waiting for this ever since they announced the 3ds and its actually one of the reasons why i purchased one. the DSI version was just super fun to use and make quick tidbits and stuff. i actually hope the online community still works when they give out download codes. if not, oh well. RE: GAMER LOUNGE 20XX (NO CASUALS!!) - ~Axis~ - 01-20-2015 I remember using the flipnote to make some really fun animations. I even made a Jackie Chan vs Jet Li stick mini movie. I dont know what ELSE that thing could be used for. The DS made the stylus the best thing in the gaming world for me in those days haha. RE: GAMER LOUNGE 20XX (NO CASUALS!!) - psychospacecow - 01-21-2015 I hope it doesn't degrade as quickly as the DSi community did. RE: GAMER LOUNGE 20XX (NO CASUALS!!) - E-Man - 01-21-2015 If you guys are hungry for some juicy Majora's Mask information, I found this video a few days ago. Forgive me if you already know about this. RE: GAMER LOUNGE 20XX (NO CASUALS!!) - Shade - 01-21-2015 For the Awesomenauts players who haven't seen this, yet. Fifth Starstorm 'naut finally revealed and stuff. Nibbs Other than the seemingly recycled Sentry move, looks okay so far. She seems like Derpl 2.0 :/ And everyone under league 3 is going to end up looking like really bad turret Derpls while playing her, especially if she has long endlag on Firebreath :/ RE: GAMER LOUNGE 20XX (NO CASUALS!!) - Shade - 01-22-2015 (01-22-2015, 08:04 AM)Kosheh Wrote: I'm...not really sure what to think. RE: GAMER LOUNGE 20XX (NO CASUALS!!) - senjen - 01-22-2015 So a Deadrising move is being made here's the trailer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_z-211gEJOg it looks cheesy but the good kind of cheesy. RE: GAMER LOUNGE 20XX (NO CASUALS!!) - Kosheh - 01-22-2015 (01-22-2015, 02:38 PM)senjen Wrote: So a Deadrising move is being made I can't wait to never see this movie because it's only on Sony's own streaming service. ): Also as a movie, it'd be cool, but looking at this trailer, these scenes and the soundtrack are just awful. They can't even do LFE's right ): RE: GAMER LOUNGE 20XX (NO CASUALS!!) - Goemar - 01-22-2015 Is no one else excited about the possibility of new BattleToads? RE: GAMER LOUNGE 20XX (NO CASUALS!!) - Helmo - 01-22-2015 Cool another classic for Microsoft to butcher. RE: GAMER LOUNGE 20XX (NO CASUALS!!) - Gwen - 01-22-2015 (01-22-2015, 06:34 PM)Helmo Wrote: Cool another classic for Microsoft to butcher. Somebody's being a negative nancy. It'd be pretty hard to fuck up Battletoads, and I think you're giving them too much flak. I think one bad Banjo Kazooie doesn't mean they shouldn't take a swing at anything else. RE: GAMER LOUNGE 20XX (NO CASUALS!!) - E-Man - 01-22-2015 As much as I want Rare's IPs to be returned to Nintendo, the best thing here is to give Microsoft another chance. As evident by ending the Kinect and releasing the new Killer Instinct game, the big M is likely getting its priorities straight regarding the once proud British game developer. Besides, I haven't heard of any news regarding Minecraft's downfall, so I think the Rare IPs are in good hands for now. |
