Some fellow tSRer's have mentioned an IRC channel for the tSR Forums. Would you all be up for this?
I myself would probably be able to drop by each day, and I'm sure Tyvon would be able to be there frequently as well. It'd be a good place to get to know your fellow forum-goers, as well as discuss things and show off sprites, music, games, etc. for quick replies.
However, what host would we use? I'm sure irc.badnik.net would be alright with us hosting a #tSR channel, but if any of you know of a better IRC host or have one of your own and would like to offer it up, please let us know!
The rules on this board would still be in effect, if not a bit more relaxed. There would also be different people getting to be moderators of the IRC channel, especially since some of the staff can't be there most of the day.

In a way I don't agree with us getting one because I don't think it will last way too long. Maybe a month or two but it will basically dissolve like PTold's chat thingy did way back in the day.

There's the Biolizard IRC, which hosts DSP's channel plus a few others. Last time tSR had a channel, it was hosted there.
Its main server runs on tSR's server, so we have full control over it.
