kind-of Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood, although it gets kind of ANIME HUMOR-y at times

I was actually going to torrent this next (after Digimon season 1)

What about Big O? I remember it coming on CN year sago then moving to adult swim, but I never watched it. Is it worth watching?

RE: Visually, the graphics are impressive. - Alpha Six - 03-06-2010

YES

RE: Visually, the graphics are impressive. - PrettyNier - 03-06-2010

which, outlaw or fmab

RE: Visually, the graphics are impressive. - Vipershark - 03-06-2010

outlaw star

RE: Visually, the graphics are impressive. - Vipershark - 03-06-2010

though now that you mention it, I should probably also get fmab too
is the series over yet? I'm about a 4th of the way through the original fma.

RE: Visually, the graphics are impressive. - PrettyNier - 03-06-2010

Brotherhood is getting pretty close and there are like, 2 or 3 issues of the manga left

the anime is at like the 3/4ths point, at the very least

RE: Visually, the graphics are impressive. - PrettyNier - 03-06-2010

and funimation.com updates with a new episode every thursday, so it shouldn't be too long now.
probably shortly after the manga concludes

RE: Visually, the graphics are impressive. - Vipershark - 03-06-2010

wait, the original fma manga is still going on? or is this the brotherhood manga? (does brotherhood even have a manga? I know that little about it, haha)

RE: Visually, the graphics are impressive. - PrettyNier - 03-06-2010

FMA has a manga, the original anime series started with it but diverted because of the rate at which issues were being released vs. the rate episodes were being produced. Brotherhood follows the manga much more closely - which is at like issue 102-106 or something. It's basically in it's final few chapters though.

Adding Hellsing Ultimate into this list.

Only 4 episodes but each episode is an hour long. It's still ongoing and will probably have only 10 episodes or less. (one book is basically one episode and there are only ten books)

Also go read Parasyte.
