And Osiris, I do actually prefer Ocarina of Time, I just wanted to make this because I could. More replay value, maybe. But Majora's Mask's gameplay, graphics, story and atmosphere all beat out OOT by a LOOOOOOONG shot. This isn't the topic for this discussion though >:< RE: tSR Clothing - Woppet* - 04-20-2009 (04-20-2009, 02:24 PM)Osiris Wrote:(04-20-2009, 02:18 PM)Vipershark Wrote:Except it's not.(04-20-2009, 01:40 PM)Osiris Wrote: LOL DON'T YOU THINK IT WOULD BE MORE FITTING TO MAKE AN OCARINA OF TIME SHIRT SINCE THAT GAME IS BETTERactually, yes I support this post 100% RE: tSR Clothing - A.J. Nitro - 04-20-2009 Take it outside, boys! You're getting off topic now. RE: tSR Clothing - Kosheh - 04-20-2009 uhm dazz wouldn't you get a C&D because you're selling clothing with trademarked characters/symbols? go with mozzman's suggestion: an open-ended sprite challenge. the top three voted designs get an upscaled version of their design printed on the t-shirt. (also, vectored, smoothed-out images of the image kinda destroy the idea of "pixel art") I'd suggest an obvious rip-off of NES scenery with an 8-bit "Spriters' Resource" logo; think Mozz's current challenge he's got posted. Simple NES palette but complex pixel art. RE: tSR Clothing - A.J. Nitro - 04-20-2009 I dunno. I actually like the vectored images better. If you read the first post, Dazz did say they do not specifically have to be pixel-art based! RE: tSR Clothing - Woppet* - 04-20-2009 A T-shirt design comp would be the greatest thing to hit these forums in a long time. RE: tSR Clothing - Vipershark - 04-20-2009 crap, I forgot about the color limit RE: tSR Clothing - Kosheh - 04-20-2009 (04-20-2009, 07:24 PM)A.J. Nitro Wrote: I dunno. BUT IT'S THE SPRITER'S RESOURCE, NOT THE RENDERER'S RESOURCE THAT KILLS THE POINT OF IT BEING A RESOURCE FOR SPRITERS FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU RE: tSR Clothing - Dazz - 04-21-2009 (04-20-2009, 09:26 PM)Kosheh Wrote:(04-20-2009, 07:24 PM)A.J. Nitro Wrote: I dunno. I actually like the vectored images better. The spriters resource users are fans of video games and video game material - just because we use the spriters resource does not mean everything in life must be pixelated to be liked. We're selling t-shirts, not our site's content. Also, we receive a C&D, which is very much doubtful since that'd be like VG Cats getting a C&D, or Snafu Comics, then I'll gladly stop selling shirts. Also, OOT kicked Majora's Mask's ass, and the guy who runs this printing company agrees. More designs = wickedness. I will obviously put up competitions for shirt designs, but at the moment we have now got a total of 3 designs that I think we can use... Not enough to open a store, if you ask me. And 2 of them are Majora's Mask shirts. 1 is bright pink and probably only girls will purchase it. RE: tSR Clothing - Vipershark - 04-21-2009 what about mine with the zelda sword? I'll make more. RE: tSR Clothing - Dazz - 04-21-2009 You're using official sprites - we can't use those. Those last 2 you did are official sprites, again, we can't have those on shirts because that's selling their material. RE: tSR Clothing - Vipershark - 04-21-2009 ah. Okay then. |
