RE: Super Star Ultra - Egallardo26 - 11-06-2008 YES! Finally Plasma Kirby Woot! most fav ability! evar!!! The program should be able to run KSSU (albeit slowly; use No$Gba unless you absolutely HAVE to use DeSmuME, for layers, for instance). There might be something up with your settings. I'd futz around with it for a while and see if that helps. (like, blow into the USB port of your computer. If that doesn't work, blow into your hard drive. ) Also, for NDeSmuME and remembering capitals: The program's name is NDSemuME, just with the S and e switched: NDeSmuME. Quote:YES! Finally Plasma Kirby Woot! most fav ability! evar!!!Slow down there, cowboy. It hasn't been ripped yet . RE: Super Star Ultra - Jermungandr - 11-06-2008 Hmm ... I think I will do Plasma / Fire Kirby next instead of Hammer. Mostly because it's going to be the hardest cap to do and I seem to be the one with the most time on my hands. Also! I have a new goal to get all the sheets ripped by the end of November, as Sephy tells me TSR should be ready to come back up by the beginning of December. Think we can make it? I think so. [EDIT] Aw man, Fire and Plasma have two different files? I thought it was just going to be a pallet swap ... RE: Super Star Ultra - Geo the Fox - 11-06-2008 Oh, so they weren't lazy with it this time, huh? Coo'. RE: Super Star Ultra - Omegakyogre - 11-07-2008 (11-06-2008, 09:38 PM)Drshnaps Wrote: Hmm ... If you want to take them both, even though they're separate files, please: Be my guest! I think we can get it done by the end of November. Granted, it might be difficult because it seems the three of us are the only ones actively working on the project at this moment, once the hats are ripped the remaining bosses shouldn't be too hard. 'Lobster's coming along. His palettes are acting a little weird, though. I have to change the background color because it's the same color as his outline, and while sometimes tile molester splits them correctly, other times it alters both of them, and I have to reboot it. EDIT: Here you go. Also, I made a new icon for the Starship sheet (It still says Star Chariot in the sheet; I'll have to fix that later.) If you are planning on doing Plasma and Fire Kirby, DrShnaps, I'll do Fighter Kirby instead. RE: Super Star Ultra - Jermungandr - 11-07-2008 Oh, sorry I didn't realize you already had dibs on Fire Kirby. Also, don't forget Heavy Lobster's alternate pallet and his Helper to Hero image! Since the sheet is so small I would just include all the pallet-swapped pieces instead of just including the pallet itself, but that's me. Actually, it was Plasma, but since I was doing Lobster I didn't consider myself to have 'dibs' on him anyway. It's no big deal if you want to do them -- the way you described their difficulty makes me want to do a different hat anyway. Oh, I forgot about his palette swap. I think it was in the file, too, but I couldn't understand why -- now I know. I'll update the sheet a little later. RE: Super Star Ultra - Kitsu - 11-07-2008 It's also missing his painted sprites. When Paint Kirby gets him... RE: Super Star Ultra - Omegakyogre - 11-07-2008 (11-07-2008, 12:09 PM)Sploder Wrote: It's also missing his painted sprites. Goh... You have the worst timing, ever. I just finished with his alternate palette. XD Well, I suppose I have more work to do, then... *Gets to work* EDIT: (Same deal, refresh your cache if you can't see the changes) NOW I'm done with it. (If someone says I missed something I'll kill them) RE: Super Star Ultra - Jermungandr - 11-07-2008 You didn't miss anything, but there is something about the way you have them arranged that's been bothering me ... See how you have both of the front foot sprites on the right but the front leg bolt is on the left? Wouldn't it make more sense to put them both on the same side? As for the Plasma/Fire Kirby, it turns out they're not as hard as I thought they would be. I thought it was going to be one of those situations where the fire animation was seperate from the headband and I was going to be stuck pasting a thousand different pieces together in different ways, but it turns out that's not the case. And it's actually pretty easy to put the cap on his head because, like the Wing cap, you can easily see Kirby's shape in most of them. So in other words, if you still want Plasma Kirby you can have it. If you don't I'll still do it, but if you do then I'll just move on to Hammer Kirby after I'm done with Fire like I originally planned. [EDIT] Okay, strike that. Looks like I AM going to have to piece together quite a few of them. I hadn't gotten very far into it before making my prior comment and apparently got the wrong impression. RE: Super Star Ultra - A.J. Nitro - 11-07-2008 Do you get Paint Ability when you inhale Marx's Soul attack? If so, when you use it on him, does he change pallets? Yes, yes you do. And do you mean the hat or Marx Soul himself? If you mean Marx Soul, that's a no, I'm not sure about the hat though. RE: Super Star Ultra - A.J. Nitro - 11-07-2008 Well I meant any part of him. I'm afraid my busy school schedule won't allow for another sheet requiring the amount of work the Galacta Knight's did. I also fixed the Starship sheet (it's actually not called the 'Star Chariot,' as Sploder pointed out a long time ago). DrShnaps, if you could update the front page with the new icon and sheet (this time a different URL) I'd appreciate it.
