RE: New tSR Is Go! - Black Squirrel - 01-12-2009 Resolutions shouldn't be too much of a problem in regards to shifting things around. Probably about 85-90% of the market uses a resolution of 1024x768 or higher, and I have no issues with 1024x768 on this PC. in fact I even rearranged stuffs in paint and found there wouldn't need to be any extra scrolling RE: New tSR Is Go! - Dazz - 01-12-2009 That's not exactly true, on the right side if you were to move the search box down above where the advertisement is, then, for example, I would have to scroll. Anyway, it doesn't matter. Because really it's just picking holes for the sake of picking holes. The layout is the same minus those 2 blocks in the corners. RE: New tSR Is Go! - Ultimecia - 01-12-2009 I tried with many different computers, all with different resolutions. One is a notebook with a 12" widescreen, a regular 18" and a 20" widescreen. Except in the 20 (dunno WHY *sarcasm*) I have to scroll due the ad. And now because the crazy amount of new sheet icons at the front page. Maybe now I got to scroll even with the bigger screen too. But so far, none of them had any problem with the design. RE: New tSR Is Go! - Cesar - 01-12-2009 OK, am I the only one who doesn't have to scroll down because of the ad? I mean, the ad appears, but didn't change anything RE: New tSR Is Go! - Superliger - 01-13-2009 I would like to add a suggestion about the ad, Would it be possible to have a buttion you click on that hides the ads? Edit: Also would it be possible to have a buttion to show the icons from past updates? RE: New tSR Is Go! - Dazz - 01-13-2009 We are working on something about the past updates. But legally, we can't have a "hide our ads" button. RE: New tSR Is Go! - Previous - 01-13-2009 Why would someone want to hide the ads. I'm sure that they help tSR to get some money to pay their costs. If someone doesn't want them to be there, there are certain plugins for certain browsers that let you block ads. I have one of those (I don't block ads on tSR, though, I like to click them sometimes). Whatever. Sounds good Dazz. If I can come up with any more ideas I'll let you know. RE: New tSR Is Go! - Ultimecia - 01-13-2009 I personally don't mind having to scroll. We already got to scroll because the updates (so far), so this isn't really a big deal. But you can't comment anymore the updates! :/ RE: New tSR Is Go! - Maneko - 01-13-2009 (01-13-2009, 07:43 AM)Dazz Wrote: We are working on something about the past updates. I do that every time a site's ads are too annoying or get in the way. It's a patch solution, but still works. RE: New tSR Is Go! - Irby - 01-13-2009 I dont know if anyone else brought it up or not, but what happened to the customs? Other then that, I like the site. I kinda miss the old format but I guess I can get used to this. RE: New tSR Is Go! - Superliger - 01-13-2009 They haven't been added in yet. RE: New tSR Is Go! - Dazz - 01-14-2009 Remove index.php RE: New tSR Is Go! - Superliger - 01-14-2009 The other way you can go to the site is use the link on the bottem of the forums. It comes in handy for me at times. |
