RIPPING SOME ANIMATIONS (Gamecube)!!! - Psycho Nuggets - 04-27-2013 So a really long time ago I made a post of some tools (poorly edited). Since then with my 4 years of experience with the Unity engine, and 2 with blender, I wanted a way to ripp models with animations from a gamecube game, WELL HERE IT IS! First your gonna need Autodesk 3ds max ( DO NOT USE ANY VERSION NEWER THEN 2011 THE .BMD PLUGIN WILL NOT PLAY ANIMATIONS RIGHT IF YOU DO!) The trail or free student version will work just fine ( 3ds max wont work on mac, even though I love my mac book pro.) Next you need a GC Rom: Now I usually would say get GC tool but..... Just use dolphin [url=http://www.emulator-zone.com]Dolphin ( Remember you can pretty much only use first party games like Mario, Zelda, .etc) Now you need to get the plugin for .bmd and add it to your toolbar in 3ds max 2011. Here is a link that might be it : BMD Plugin rapid 4 Me Now here are some tutorials that might help: One on importing with plugin : Importing tut Here is a guy with some good tuts: Avatrus one's Tutorials Youtube And last but not least ripping: Ripping from any GC game |
