Bizarre maps in Kingdom Hearts III - robowil - 10-10-2020 I'm trying to rip the Kingdom Key model from Kingdom Hearts III (PS4), and while I got the diffuse and normal maps properly extracted, there's also this weird map: Is it supposed to be some sort of a special PBR map? It doesn't seem to have an AO channel, so I don't really know. If anyone can figure out what it is, thank you in advance. RE: Bizarre maps in Kingdom Hearts III - Demonslayerx8 - 10-10-2020 the maps is for rendering certain shaders, sometimes used for detail masks. use umodel to open the raw unreal engine files to understand the material concept. RE: Bizarre maps in Kingdom Hearts III - Makoto - 10-12-2020 mask for mini bumps as the game uses shared mini bumps, this is a mask for what parts uses it RE: Bizarre maps in Kingdom Hearts III - robowil - 10-13-2020 Interesting... By the way, if I were to submit the model, should I split the map into seperate channels like I would with PBR maps? |
