drawspace.com You'd have to register to view the lessons. Don't hit the cources button cause the cources are really expensives.

>free
>courses spelled wrong
>expensive
T_T You don't have anyone telling you what is wrong or hindering your progress with the lessons, or even the courses it seems.

I have been told I have a natural talent for art, also considering my first time using soft pastels and shading in pen & ink were "exceptional."

Yeah, stuff like drawspace is more for buffering real classes or input than an actual alternative

and still
two weeks does not make you good
and courses don't teach you anatomy
you learn anatomy from - whoa wait for this - drawing from life. Actual life. Real people. Preferably not photographs.

First you were asking people to show them your sketches so you could "see how it's done" or whatever, and now you're begging people to tell you how they started

there is no fucking magical spell or series of actions that make you capable of drawing. I'm getting really fucking sick of your constant asking and then never doing. Or when you actually do something you blatantly ignore the actual lesson therein and just play it on the nose and do the same as every other fucking retard on deviantart - I'm drawing lots of heads! I'm drawing lots of hands! I will then go on to utterly ignore (or just not even fucking realise) what these drawings were for BUT I DREW A PAGE OF HANDS THAT'LL MAKE ME GOOD RIGHT
I know somebody who does exactly that (except she copies other people's pics too). She started drawing... 2 years ago, and I haven't seen anything done "free". Plus I agree with the other things you've mentioned, Zeemort.

I've always drawn (I drew McDonald's wtf, Duke Nukem, Spiderman... ~2-7 years, marker pen), and I've had a DBZ and Metroid fixation (~12-15, pencil/biro) but I've moved on to something more personal and realistic. I started painting last year and my art teacher thought what I did was pretty good for a first try. I don't like my sketches, but he likes looking at them.

I'd like to see more of your stuff, Mabelma. It's interesting knowing how people started drawing but it's no use tracing our experiences. We're all unique and our experiences make who we are and contribute to your style (in this case drawing style).

Y'know what, I think you might have trouble with leaving to focus on your studies.

So I shall help. Suspended for 3 weeks. Heart

Thanks to Pik and Solink; they are sexy people. Heart

Oh god, Groove, I lol'd way harder than I should have at that.

I started drawing shitty manga shit. Thankyou, Pokemon, Sailor Moon and Gundam Wing. |D

now i still occasionally draw manga shit, but also semi-realistic shit.

i'm not very good. i'd take lessons, but a; i'm poor and b; there are about twenty million other things i want to take classes in, too.

You said what I was trying to, but you were clearer and nicer about it ¦D

I drew stick figures until I jumped into spriting, of course starting with recoloring and editing and such. I still don't really draw. That might be why i have a huge problem with making linearts of humanoids and complicated structures.

Made stickman and mushroom comics
bald superheroes comics
funkey monkey comics
started trying to mimic dbz style
had a sonic character(did not know everyone made one, didnt own a computer)
drew then cut out smash brothers 64 characters and battled them
went more into anime style
became decently good
and now currently trying to stray away from anime style into something more realistic.
