Yeah, if you've got an event editor you'd be able to recognize that a lot of those tiles are tied to specific events. I personally couldn't find an event editor for silver, but maybe you've had better luck. Simply open up an original copy of the rom, check out the tiles compared to the ones you changed, and see if any of them had events.

Also, if it's cool, I'd like to be in this as a character too.

A few minor updates in the past few days, nothing major.....I hate I can't do anymore this weekend because of ball....I also have updated the first post with the rom for those who want to check some of it out, and if someone could check to see if the rival not appearing before getting to NB Town and naming him....And yes, I am mentioning Promentheous or however you spell his name for my rival.... also those aren't red's sprites as the rival. those are gold's.

Thanks vipershark, it's dupposed to be a uat, and nintendo made it where you had to look real close and squint to see that it is a hat. Is there anyway you can do the back sprite too? And I think I will redo the maps if I can get my sprite swapping program to work with crystal, since I figured out how to change the pallete..... And I will try to put y'all in it Shroob and other dude.

Well, I don't think the changing the hack into Crystal will work out. To solve the hat issue, I'm making it into that fedora-type hat Mafia gangsters wore. I've also deciding what to replace the bike with, a motorcycle, car, or leaving it as it is....I'm also trying to find a way to code key items, so they work the same as HMs.(Meaning no more HM slaves!)

Thanks Devicho, I'll be able to get at my house tomorrow. Bad thing is though, for the going down and up walking sprites, the game actually uses two, one for the step and the both feet down sprite. So when he's walking down, the R will be mirrored every other step. That's basically what was up with Blue's hair in Red/Blue/FR/LG. I might use the hat though.

Couldn't you add the extra frame in? If not, I could try to edit it a little so that it would look fine either way, but the R would probably look more like an A in that case.
