that's because the developers of MPO are probably retarded
Are you sure?

Because other games I've played don't seem to help the PSP's case either.

Nah it is in the wrong place. With many PSP games you end up having to use both at the same time with the index finger on the D-Pad (Monster Hunter comes to mind), I can't see this being done on the new design.

There hasn't even been an official announcement of the PSP go itself yet.

August (or Fall for the strange ones).
Who cares about official? Why do we even gave E3 if companies can't keep shit for getting out?

That's just shitty game design. I never enjoyed having to use the D-Pad AND analogue stick even on PS2 games.

True. But it would make it impossible to play. And Monster Hunter is pretty big on the PSP.

And... WHERE'S MY SECOND THUMB NUB!!!!!!

Solution: Developers need to make games with not-shitty not-unplayable controls. Problem solved!

Get the fuck off my ideas, Vupair!

I'm debating picking up one and hacking it for Linux, hacking it for emulation, or just leaving ti be...

Probably one of the first two.

Looks retarded. I was entertaining thoughts about maybe buying a used original PSP

Honestly, I quite enjoy the original PSP.

This looks like a steaming pile yeah, but I wouldn't dare ever consider swapping my old one for anything.

Mostly because I do not want to be bothered again with modding it all over. >_>
