TSR-red would have been cool, too.

It stains too easily and is too bright and such. :\
A darker colour would have been a lot better.

Possibly. I thought the first one may look better if flipped (I was too lazy to change it) anyway, and the artwork for the game itself shows it used both ways (mouth facing to the right on K. Rool's hat, but mouth facing to the left pretty much everywhere else).

What's wrong with white shirts?

Nothing, Black shirts are overrated. They absorb heat too quickly, and go with very little.

Lazy people wear them because it hides stains and sweatmarks, but why would you have either? Alternatively; black = COOL N GOFF, which is just as lame.

Just thought i'd point out that black tends to go with a lot more than white.

Also its a matter of opinion, so i could just as easily say white shirts are overrated.

Anyways, i'll prolly buy something after my 18th in a month.

Actually, no. Unless they're specifically summer jackets, most coats (and jeans!) favour darker tones, and layering dark on dark is flat, and generally not reccomended.

That said, if you have a light summer coat, or can wear chinos without looking preppy, then by all means - but a dress shirt would look better.
