Hello !
I am looking for Breath of Fire IV Sprites.
I especially want Ryu (the main character) And any enemy. (In The Battle Mod Only)
I need at last 1 hero and 1 enemy, because i want to try to achieve an RPG With Flash.

Can you not just use any of the other BoF sprites on the site instead of IV?
There's plenty rips on the SNES...

bof4 is a ps1 game with a completely different graphical style from the first 2 games
its also one of my fav ps1 games cuz holy shit its gorgeous.
Yes, but if the purpose for them is to just test out an RPG engine, they can be replaced later.

I'm pretty sure GameSpriteArchive have some BoF4 sprites.

You are totally right.
But, i would like to use (if its possible) directly the BoF IV sprites because it also take a certain time to recreate animation for characters.
And as Champion Shawn says, Thoses sprites are really gorgeous.

I already have the standing pose of Ryu (In battle) wich is good !
So i can began programming.

Sprites used during cutscenes and some special purpose sprites, along with most NPCs are easily rippable, although they are spread out over a large set of files. Note that some sets of sprites appear in multiple files. (and the tile order is a bit awkward)
PC battle sprites are compressed, and I think generic PC sprites are as well (walking and such).
Here's a WIP Ryu rip I've had lying around for over a year now;
EDIT: I forgot to mention that the PSX-VRAM method also works, but it only seems to load the current animation and idle animation for battle sprites.

They can't be ripped from file method ? As far as I have seen, the enemies are not compressed, and neither are the bosses.

If someone can rip me any Enemy of Breath of Fire III or IV.
I need urgently those ripped animation (Any Enemy of your choice).
- Standing Animation
- Get Hurt Animation
- Attack Animation
Just look at this picture
I have add the ATB + Command Menu + Target Selection
I am going to Start programming the attack.
If you don't have time to help me, i would be very happy to know what program do you use to rip sprites.

Thanks for your interest for the project.
The battle system will be similar to Final Fantasy, with the ATB bar.
The In Town system will be similar to Saga Frontier 2.
