well think about this the pokemon series has had 6 (9 if you count the pokemon trainers pokemon as individual charachters.) now thats twice as much as what some of the other series have sonic has at least three of those but yet he got only one charachter.

there is no way you can compare olimar to the overlord. and he dosent have to use a sword in the game he used maces and axes as well.
