I had rumble arena 1.
It was decent, but I got tired of it after a while and traded it in. I wish I hadn't though.
I want to play it again.
Unfortunately, this was when I was in like middle school and trading it in was my only source of income for a new game.
That was a really hard decision. I still remember it.
Digimon World 3 took from all the other Digmon games at the time. You want 3D battles you get them. You want Gym Training? You want pre-renderd backgrounds? You got em.
I like that balls to the walls pour it all in job which is why I enjoy it more than 1, too bad 1's the better game in terms of exploration, they missed the mark there.

Maybe I'm missing something but wasn't Digimon World the game where you just watched the fights?
If it is I thought it really sucked...

Partially. The first game had your monsters act under AI, and you could give them instructions as to fighting strategy, and whether they listened or not depended on their Wisdom stat and how much they liked you.
Which is all well and good. It does leave you hammering the "ATTACK!" button over and over while your pet may or may not be attacking anything at all.
Specs 'n' Headphones has been revamped! Check it, yo.
Thanks to Pik and Solink; they are sexy people.

Yeah, I thought it sucked. Hell I played it because I loved the series, but defiantly not a game to go back to.

I like the FF/pokemon mixture aspect to DW3, but the loading times are atrocious
it's still a good game though
