Zee, listen man, give CoolYoshi a break. He was just giving C+C about what not to do. We can't always be softies and say "oh it dosen't look pretty" Some of us have to play hardball to get the person to do it right. I don't see why that's spam anyways. You want to see real spam? look at the locked topics in PT.

A valliant effort, Skink, however a few points.

• I have only ever banned three people. One of those was an alt account, and the other two were for one-day bans. I am not the banning everybody, nor do mine last all that long. Bans are punishments, but I understand he's a member of the forum and is generally helpful. But he chose to ignore my warning.
  
• You can be brutally honest, but he goes on to say "that's terrible" which is very similar to "Damnit, not more pokemon splices!" I made a judgement call and I stick to it.
  
• I understand hardball, I really do, I tend to do those sort of crits myself. But CoolYoshi did NOT make any suggestions for improvement other than telling him he won't get accepted. Not one bit of his comment was constructive, helpful or friendly. On all accounts it failed to be useful.

I would love to go off topic and give some reasons why coolyoshi shouldn't have been on topic, but I want to give some advice about the Fusions(Splices), and the other sprites.

Of course the TSR won't be accepting these, since they aren't allowed. Doesn't mean he can't post them here. If you hate splices so much, don't post here.

I actually enjoy making recolors for many reasons. They are really fun to make, and they are easy enough for anyone to make. This also includes Fusions, Devamps, etc.

Here is something you can improve for the fusions.

-When making a fusion, they parts have to fit in perfectly with eachother, if something doesn't look perfect on the other pokemon, you have to change it to make it look like it fits.

That's not enough to take sting out of what he said. He attacked what looked to be the bulk of what Dark Kirby worked on. No dice, the ban still holds.

DarkKirby, The definition of a Fakemon is a self created creature. Now, when you just splice together Pokemon, recolor them, mess around with their looks it still isn't your creation. Your "scratches" are the only thing there that is your own. With that in mind. The pixel art for them isn't in style, considering the shapes are oblong and aren't executed right. I highly suggest you focusing on defining their shapes and comparing the shading with real sprites from Pokemon, It is obvious you know a bit about the shading techniques for the Pokemon style. Why don't you try taking your time with the shapes, tweak them slowly, then make the creatures.

Please try your best at improving instead of falling victim to gimmicks like Pokemon splicing. It really isn't original, it is just over-used.
