I actually found the turn-based battle system of the original games to be very slow and very tedious... Even if you cheat and run the game faster than it was intended, it takes longer than many other higher quality RPGs. The action-based combat seems pretty interesting.

And although the world looks a lot more interesting than the generic one it used to be, why does Maxim look... like that? Seriously, redesigning was inevitable, and probably for the better.. had they taken it in a different direction. But he looks like... I don't even know. xDD
