@Ton, I think too many of those loop songs are too important to be just loops. Especially Dedede's theme. Most of them would do better as actual stage music, or as parts of medleys in stage music. Though I think Luigi's and Yoshi's fit perfectly.

For Bowser, I think one of his Mario Party songs might fit better.

Fair enough. I don't like the idea of Bowser getting a hand-me-down franchise song for his loop though. Maybe the SMB1 castle theme?

EDIT: I think Meta needs something a little more badass than that though. Any ideas for Gooey? Definitely should be something KDL3 related.

Also, for Yoshi's theme, I'm planning on involving my brother, Anthony "DarkGenic" Kertopermono, not really all that known now, but you could check his portfolio site, Stylish Sexy. He's also a great musician, and is a better guitar player than I am.

Anyway, reposting the original Samus one, just for comparison:

It only adds one instrument, but it also immediately makes it a bit stronger. I don't really want to change too much on it though.

The alternatives all miss just one instrument. Removing too many instruments will take out the menace the original had. However, like I said, too many instruments can be overkill.

The lead in Bowser's loop doesn't stand out enough over the drums. It's pretty hard to hear, in my opinion.
