which is a huge problem
the NES MM's aren't bad per se, but their style is horribly overused
I'm tired of seeing them
and with that
WHERE IS THE MEGAMAN X SPINOFF THAT WE ALL WANT EVEN MORE, HMM

They could have at least done it in MM7 style this time. Even though it looks worse and I hate it, it seems a bit cheap to go with 8-bit again.

Protoman and Bass looked awesome in Megaman 8 / Megaman and Bass style... Megaman on the other hand I felt indifferent about. He looked very bland.

it goes 8bit just because the charm said graphics have.
capcom portraits the image of a father seing his son playing this weird game and they both sit and try to beat together, while the MM2 intro theme plays on the background.
the original megaman is back~
PS: megaman's desing is bland, actually. hence why a guy like zero wich is a zomg dude with his hair on the wind and a cool laser sword who looks so awesome had to be included on the game.

I actually don't think I want to see a direct melding of the Classic and the X series... The way I've always liked to picture it is that Dr. Light and Dr. Wily become obsessed with the completion of their ultimate robots, those being X and Zero, and that in reality, something completely different happened to classic Megaman and that he never actually met Zero, and that Zero's first actual fighting was in the future when he was found.
But then again, the opening of Megaman X4 kinda makes it clear that Wily wanted Zero to kill either Dr Light or Megaman, and even it if was Dr Light and NOT Megaman, I'm assuming Megaman would be there to try and put a stop to it.
Also: I think about this all too much. xD

I wrote some fanfiction on this once
In this story, Zero kills Megaman Classic (and eventually Light) and seriously injures protoman, sending him offline in a fight before being sealed away until the X series starts and sigma finds him
during this time cain finds MMX and injured offline protoman and upgrades protoman into PMX using the reploid technology he got from X
Vile is actually a failed experiment by Wily to implant his consiousness into a robot body, which is why he has an insane desire to kill X but doesn't know why
Bass somehow becomes Bass X
Lots of fighting
etc.

Um I don't mean to go off topic but I've never been the biggest Mega Man fan but I do know a few things. So I need to know, if Mega Man X was sealed away for having advanced AI that can learn and develop, does that mean regular Mega Man has little to no AI?
But that doesn't make any sense...
I mean he should... But why wasn't Light afraid of regular Mega Man when they are both capable of learning and developing and etc?
Eh I feel dumb.
