Character Tweaks [revamped first post!]

Also another thing to consider. Runouw is making the game and the physics engine, right? From the test it seemed different enough as it is, whether it was just the controls or the actual engine, people playing this will have to get use to it, just like how people had to get use to Brawl from Melee, and Melee from 64.
Strive for victory. Vanquish defeat. And always pack the extra 1up.

Also since Wario and Kirby can eat items, why not letting Yoshi do it as well?

Yeah, when he uses the somersault then if you keep pressing A you slide after you roll. Like in SA2 when you continually pressed B.

Captain falcons Knee should be more like melee. Timing rather than PLACE and timing. If this topic counts for the demo than PLEASE redo the hitboxes. Squirtle has GOD-LIKE range. Especially his down air. Gooey first jump is a bit too slow as well as his second jump.

Should we bring back the DJC ( Double-Jump Cancel)?

The demo is just a sign of things that can be done. But I don't think its too useful to discuss things like hit boxes or timing of jumps so early in the game's development because it's extremely hard to get it right the first time and will probably be adjusted a ton by the time the game is finished.

Not even that, I was just suggesting one move be changed. That's what happened for Luigi and Mario, now they have two different B Down moves.

Its just a way of making them more different.

Well, we did say he could alternate between the two. and this is just me, but may we change his Final Smash, to me, it doesn't seem right. Because it looks weird, I like Luigi, but to me, Nintendo could have done better for a final smash for him.

ton- yeah, but they changed it to thunder to make the characters different and give luigi his own character rather than being player 2. imo we should follow that more

...For one game. He's used the fire flower in SMB1, 3, World, NSMB, etc etc. Besides, we've already got Ness, Lucas, and Pikachu with electric attacks. Luigi should stick with his good old fireballs.
