What if it was the Biggoron Sword, and it made you heavier, so if you get hit off stage, you'd fall faster. And it could be KINDA slow, and you'd drop it easier than other items. ???

So it's like the metal box + homerun bat?

Well, when you put it THAT way, it sounds stupid.
Well, not really. I think you should still fly off the same...maybe just throw that part out, I guess? But you'd drop it easier than the homerun bat. Plus, it's not a MEGA destruction hit. It's like multiple slashes that do some good damage.

Well since its the Biggoron sword why not have it automatically break after a set amount of attacks with it? Maybe what's left of the sword wouldn't do much damage when you attack with it and the other half falls on the ground as a weak item that can be thrown around.

Sounds good, but when it breaks, if you drop the handle, does the handle immediatly disappear?

That's the Giant's Knife. ... Maybe BOTH items should be in the game, with Biggoron's Sword appearing rarely, and the only way to differentiate between the two is that the Giant's Knife breaks and the Biggoron's Sword doesn't but is easier to knock out of somebody's hands.

That's the Giant's Knife. Sorry about the name mixup, its been a few years since I played through that game. On a more related note I support your idea for how it should work.

But they both looked the same in the game. How will you know if you picked up the Biggoron Sword or the Giant's Knife?

Eh. I guess. I'd like it to have some kinda of difference in design. Not even major. Just something so that you could go, FUCK YEAH, A BIGGORN SWORD, or, A giant's knife...I"m boned. Or maybe like a different sound clip when the hit connects. I don't know. :/

A clank sound for the knife and a slash sound for the biggoron?
Hahaha. The Biggeron Sword/Giant's Knife sounds like our version of a EPIC/fail weapon, like the Hammer or Golden Hammer. Don't know which one you're gonna get until you try it out.
EDIT: Obviously, I'm all for the design's looking the same. Adds a little luck, just like the Hammer and Golden Hammer did. Will you risk using this item?

I say the starman (from Mario) should also deal some sort of damage then just being invincible.
I mean, it's supposed to be an unstoppable force killing all the enemies you can pass, but in smash bros you just can't get hit. |
