All right, good to go.
I really like the way you made the effects he shoots, they look official.
Ooo! Good stuff, once again, A.J.!
Well, if you need an idea for what to do next... ... ...Can you rip from GCN games? Zelda: Four Swords Adventures specifically? We only have, like, six different sheets from that game... but no Link poses... (08-11-2008, 04:42 PM)Miles07 Wrote: Ooo! Good stuff, once again, A.J.! Hm, I'm not sure, but I think the link from Four Swords is the same that the one from Four Swords GBA and Minish Cap. But I'm not sure...
Well, all the Links have been ripped on Shy Guy Kingdom, but not here... And I think there are a few slight differences. Plus a few unique animations only on Four Swords / LTP.
And I meant the GameCube one, FSA. Not LTP/FS. Although either will do fine. This site doesn't have much of either of them...

No, they ARE 2D sprites. See the Ganon sprites on the site? 2D sprites, not 3D. Stylized, sure, but not 3D. The Link sprites should be 2D as well.

I think the cones are either unused or a trick because IIRC the original Yoshi's Island was on the Super FX2 chip which did some scaling/other techniques and I'm not sure if the GBA supports similar functions (probably do though).
Excellent rip anyway.

So it must be some chip that made everything look 3D in the SNES version. Star Fox for the SNES must've had it too.

The cones are the body and like Yamack said, it uses that chip when it was on the SNES. Not sure how it works but a similar shape is used for the falling panels in the earlier part of his castle.
Star Fox used an earlier version, SuperFX, but yeah, same deal.

The Mode7 expansion, possibly?
Maybe could've also been used for, like, alpha effects. Nice job BTW.
