I like the Wurmple as it is now, and besides, it's a community project not a Neslug project. He can't do everything himself.

Aw come on man, I wanted to make the sheet. Also, I don't like the white on his body. It works on his hair, but it just look weird on the darker part of his body. Also now his face looks kinda too big.

I am aware the white highlights aren't perfect, but it's really difficult to get them right. The 2nd gen sprites almost invariably use dithered highlights and it's hard to fit them into such a slender Pokémon (especially white ones on a dark colour). Just fix what you don't like but remember to use plenty of refs as the style can be a bitch sometimes.

The Cyndaquil line, Umbreon and Murkrow here are the other possible option, the dark fur could be black with brown highlights.

I think you should use one blue and a yellow instead of two blues.

Yes if you can wait until tomorrow. And it's close to the style as it is, compare to Caterpie. Just fix the broken outlines.

I tried using yellow, but the blue looked way ugly so I used two blues and substituted yellow for white.

I'll try redoing it again, I guess.
